05-22-2024 Temple, Texas - Tornado Damage - Homes Heavily Damaged - Clean Up

A tornado touched down on the west side of Temple, Texas this evening causing extensive damage. Homes can be seen with their roofs completely gone, and inside walls exposed. Vehicles can be seen heavily damaged as well. One home even caught on fire, and firefighters can be see extinguishing the fire from the roof.

Since this is in Texas Im willing to bet these homes were of awful construction quality. Got screwed by the builder and know by a tornado.

Hope those guys cutting branches from trees are wary of electric lines that may be hidden by the branches. Very dangerous

I chased this exact storm. My grandparents house took a near miss. Touched down just east of them and they lost full size trees in the yard. Couple shingles pulled off roof. Will be handling it. Have dealt with twisters before, will deal with it again.
