Hello Mark, I did the last flight on PAL D-C 8 from Sydney Australia to Manila in 1979. Flight arrived at 1500 Philippines time, my first time overseas age 19. WOW, I couldn’t believe the amount of people outside the airport terminal. My best wishes to you and all Good and Decent Expats who have made Asia home for a better life. After all my years of traveling and working in Asia, I truly think I would like to have my twilight years in Taiwan. All the best to you and all your family and friends

Thailand is not difficult, the language spoken is not easy. Most places of business speak english, or have people that speak english. Immigration laws are unique to every country. If you are single it can be a challenge, or you pay a "visa specialist" USD-900 plus or minus and they can take care of it for you. I won't tell you what's great about Thailand compared to the Philippines. I'm happy the way things are, less expats living here would be great also. So, the more difficult they make it, the better. I'm glad people are finding the Philippines as a prime place to retire, I think it is much less expensive, I see the rents are increasing, but they are pretty high in parts of Thailand also like 2-4 times higher than Philippines and maybe on par with Manila. you get what you pay for. Living in Thailand isn't much different than the west, and for that, it does increase the cost of living. Keep up the good work, It's often inaccurate to comment on living in a different country unless one is living in that country. It's just knowing your way around...

Hi Mark , i understand that i am most probably a couple of years behind , but by mistake I've come across this hate video towards you and Paul , by The Raw Facts. I'm absolutely flabbergasted that this can be allowed , isn't it liable?
