Depending on the platform you stream to. For KZbin it works like this. While streaming the pre-recorded video is a Livestream after the stream ends the stream stays on your KZbin channel as a video. Views gained during the live sessions will be displayed as views.

Hi Sara about 3 weeks ago, Restream has discontinued scheduler and is now offering the same functionality under the name "Video Storage" as part of the Restream Professional plan. I understand that this is inconvenient when you just want to try the feature to see if it works. You are almost correct. It's true that you have to grant certain access to their platform and, theoretically, a bad-actor can do harm with this information. However, here is the part where you are only partially correct. While you can log in with your Google account to grant Restream access to set everything up for you, you can also simply choose to set up an RTMP stream where you give Restream the access to send live video to the ONE and only that one livestream you have set up beforehand on KZbin (or other platforms). With that Info, the platform cannot touch any of your account settings or other content.

You can either schedule it for right now, which is the same thing as just going live. Or you use the restream studio to play a video you either upload or stream directly from your computer storage. However, for the studio solution, you would have to say logged in and keep the studio page open during the livestream.
