How to Live Stream Prerecorded Videos To YouTube UPDATED - Beginner Guide

I have been live streaming pre-recorded videos for more than a year now, and I have made SO MANY MISTAKES! My goal is to make sure you don't do the same things I did. If you want to live stream pre recorded videos on KZbin, or even any other platform, this is the video for you.
I give practical dos and don'ts as well as tools that won't break the bank.🤟
There are many different platforms you can use... Streamyard, Restream, OBS, Vmix, Resi (Living as one) and more... So I picked Restream which I know works after a year of using it.
UPDATE: It seems like some of the prices are different than I said in the video. Please do your research to make sure it is right for you 😁👊

Thank you for the video. Once you upload the video to restream and connect it to KZbin live section, how do you find the KZbin Live ID for that particular video if you want to share it with another platform such as Kajbi to run a pre recorded webinar?

Of course! I am not sure if I understand your question. You should just be able to copy the KZbin link from your channel. If you want it to be a live webinar in Kajabi you can make the video unlisted.

@@EvanDiDio Thank you for the response. Yes. Its unlisted. However, Kajabi only accepts the KZbin ID. Not the full link. So once the video is uploaded to restream where would I find the ID? Do I get it from restream or go back to youtube to retrieve it?

Hey! You can't live stream a video to KZbin but you can premiere it. That works similarly but doesn't have the same reach as a stream With most of the options I have in this video you don't need an app 😁👊

When you say 24/7 you mean if I have a 12 hours video it would go live twice daily till I stop it, and 3 days after I would have 6 uploaded videos on my channel, correct?

Unless they've updated it, it will be a 24/7 live stream meaning it will be a single video that's live until you stop it. When stopped it will only be 1 video 👊

I used a streaming service but people couldn’t comment so if I use Restream will the chat be able to leave comments?

Yes - that mainly depends on the platform you are streaming to. For most streaming platforms you need to allow certain permissions to actually see the comments. Kind of annoying, but that's just a safety protocal

Hello Mr. Trevor! I'm so glad it helped! I don't know a lot about streaming videos 24/7 but I believe Vimeo has an option for that. That is a tricky area.

Is it possible to start a live stream "live" sort of as an intro, and then transition into pre-recorded video?

Yep! BUT, you might have to run the live stream. So basically get a service like Streamyard or Restream that allows you to go live with your camera and mic and then play the video as an input into the stream while you are off of the program. Does that make sense? I know that you can definitly do this in Vmix.

I'm a musician wanting to host a livestream listening party of my new album on the evening that it drops. I plan to use Canva to pull together a video with images from a photoshoot I did. So it will be pre-recorded. I'm not going to do this very often and I really don't want to have to subscribe to a restreaming service. Are there any options for me?

Congratulations on the new album! I would look at Restream to see if they have a free trial, or possibly look at streamyard. They probably have a free trial. It may have a watermark, but might be worth it. Hope this helps!😁👊

Hey! Yes, there may be a few complications if you don't encode it through Handbrake for example, but if you use Restream you can login your phone.

100%! 1. Affiliate marketing Sign up for Amazon's Affiliate program and you would review a product and provide an affiliate link where you make a percentage from it 2. Brand deals Where companies pay you for an ad or a collab 3. KZbin adsense This is tougher because you'd need a ton of views
