LiveTarget COMMOTION SHAD | Lure review (Underwater Footage)

Found an interesting new topwater lure to try out. The LiveTarget Commotion Shad. This is an interesting take on a hollow body topwater lure. It's a little different from most of the ones I've seen out there.

i havent hooked up yet, but i used mine and i love the erratic action it has. you can pull it across while its underwater and itll come up with a splash, real it rod tip up and fast for the whopper plopper or tip down for underwater spinner action...but then again i also liked how their sunfish hollow body walked but i never caught anything on it and i heard the hookup ratio was bad so i dunno

Try fishing braid straight through, flouro carbon sinks and it might just be the drag from picking up the sunk line that is stopping it working in the initial part of the retrieve.

Yes, or even mono would be better than flouro.

Chase baits "mullet killer" dual prop top water, jointed bait. Check it out. It's a sure competitor to the whopper plopper or choppo.

I just picked one up and after seeing you're under water vid I'm sold it's gonna slam them ut makes a nice amount of commotion. The whopper is good but I've own that since it's release and it still hasn't landed me a fish and I've been bass fishing almost 30 year's so I'm no noob just haven't had no luck with it. But the lake I live on I feel 100% it will work great on my lake.

Just speculating but maybe it's supposed to dive it's made to represent a injured or dying shad maybe more of a stop and go/jerking action real erratic technique again this is just speculation

The package said it was designed to just reel it in, of course it can be fished however, might be a good tactic.

I think it looks great but am not to pleased with how it starts up, sometimes the 1st foot of the retrieve is the most important, especially for topwater baits. Needs to work better for $13.

@@MidwestBassHunter I noticed that in the video. I feel like the design could provoke some topwater bites at times when others didn't produce. I'm still kind of interested in the design anyway.
