I felt as if you were talking directly to me, because after 2 years, I still trade randomly, do not cut losses fast, ignore my own rules, revenge trade. Watching this video convinced me to stop all these nonsense things I do trading RIGHT NOW! Will keep on listening to it untill I completely stop breaking my trading rules. You literally have to tell your mind this and I know because I struggle with it sometimes too and I been trading for years now. And it’s this… If I don’t check myself I will NEVER make it. If I don’t stick to my plan this will not be sustainable. It keeps me accountable. Have a rule of one loss and your out. Close the laptop and go work out or walk the dog . Something so simple as taking a small loss can be detrimental to your decision making on the next trade. It happen to me just 20 minutes ago. I thought I was unaffected and thought I can manage another trade. But because I had already lost. the feeling and urge to be right and make back my losses blurred my judgement and plan. Guess what? I lost again!! 🤬😂😩 now I’m journaling what went wrong lol

Jared, your lesson yesterday was one of your best, based on how important psychology is in the context. I have had the privilege of following you on KZbin for just over three years and have learned a lot during these years. The psychological factors that you mention in the video are not only applicable in trading but actually apply to life as a whole. It took me almost 3 years and over 10,000 hours before I start making money sustained over time. Thanks to good money management, I have managed to keep the losses down. Through my logbook, I have also been able to see how I thought and "didn't think" in different deals over the years. Today it is so obvious to me what mistakes I made as a beginner and how much all these mistakes have taught me so much.

Mine was, im watching a KZbinr showing his previous red day and hitting his max loss and beyond just by making stupid decisions, and emotions. I told myself that I wont do those mistakes. Guess what, I hit my max loss yesterday because of my stupid decisions and emotions. Now, im here to listening again how to master my emotions. 😅

Some good stuff in here Jared. Made me laugh when you were talking about making all the great plans on the weekend, meditating, long walks, whatever shit. I have done this so many times, said to myself "right this stops now, this week is the new me, no more bullshit" and then immediately take a couple of hits and spiral into a complete meltdown and it all goes out the window. I'm still dealing with this to a degree but I'm now way better at seeing it coming and controlling it.

my secret is to consider any trade an average win. If my average trade is 20$, if i loose 20 in my head I win 20, if I win 50 I consider that I also won 20.

If I read the Insanity part right; yolo-dude had 200k own account early 2021, then transfered it to his parents account (why??) and that ended up -300k on the year. So yolo-dude actually burned through 500k within a year incl his earlier "yolo lucky pot"?...dangggg sir!!! According to his wording: "my parents account ended 300k down on the year"...... I hope their trading account had at least 3 million in it so this was just a 10% bad haircut. Obviously a non-founded personal perception, but from what I gather this smells like millionaire parents not giving a-single-fuk. (money and/or son) No other way possible to lose 300k without not knowing about it.
