4 of the highest quality companies on the ASX

From 1981 to 2022, the MSCI World Quality Index outperformed the MSCI World Index by 2.6% per year - while the growth and value styles generated returns that were pretty much identical to the broader market.

In this episode, Livewire's Ally Selby was joined by IML's Daniel Moore and Tribeca Investment Partners' Jun Bei Liu for their thoughts on why investors should be taking a closer look at quality stocks right now - including the factors that investors should look out for when trying to identify the market's quality companies.
They also each name one large cap and one small cap that they believe are the highest quality companies on the ASX. And, just because you all know I love a bit of drama, they also name one stock that the market shouldn't classify as high quality anymore.

Hard to take these people seriously. 3 Days ago REA is a sell in their 5 stocks to hold sell buy.... today its a good long term hold. Go figure.

Different fund managers different styles. You are missing that one is a pure value manager and so would never touch a highly valued / multiple stock.

@@christopherjones1782 mate go watch their other video. Its the two same fund managers. I wouldn't know i trade TA. however i track these so called fundies calls and 90% of them are inverse.

No same find manager in buy, hold, sell 3 days ago said sell REA. Now he is saying REA is the highest quality large cap on the ASX. I can only assume valuation does not play a part in his definition of high quality.

I cannot see PLS improving much over the next 12 to 18 months. Lithium is in oversupply and EV vehicles are on their way out. Hybrids use much smaller batteries.
