You should first check the coverage map for your preferred provider to see if there is mobile coverage where the ship is going

Great video. Just ordered one from Amazon although I now realise that the SIM I was going to use is Nano so I have ordered a SIM adapter kit so that I can 'convert' it to Micro.

Looking in Smarty, they have voice plans and data only plans. Will this device work with either of the plans on offer. Was just wondering as the voice plans work out cheaper than the data only plans. Thanks in advance 😉

Great video. I've just been issued with a fully unlimited (calls/text/data) SIM by my home broadband provider as part of a service upgrade, which I won't use in a mobile phone as that is still under contract. Would this device allow me to utilise the included unlimited data on the new SIM?

Thanks, have you tested what's the wi-fi distance range in meters for the 3 options (strong medium and weak signal)? I'm trying to understand that to see if it's the right option for me.

We have not, this is something we can test once restrictions allow it.

It's more for travel and temporary situations, if you need wifi for multiple devices on the go, travelling, holiday homes, camping etc.

Yes, it is better optimised than most smartphones to connection in more regions with access to better WiFi bands.

Thanks for this, i just bought mine, but it wont connect to the data, i put the sim in a phone, it worked, back in the wifi device, it wont connect to the internet, in the manual it says the network light ought to be blinking when it working, but mine wont. i have tried to connect to the ip address, wont open and done the reset, still wont work. No it does not, but it does actually have an app you can download, on the app you can change pretty much everything there is to change, the wifi password, signal strength ip adress and more

I like mine, good connection. Use it on travel so I don't spend the mobile data from phone! Just don't know if it's normal that with 2 phones connected it only lasts about 3hr.
