Deji may have lost 22 pounds in camp but his cardio and stamina once again failed him. He was all over Vinnie in the 1st round and was winning the 2nd then he just got tired and kinda..just...gave up. It really sucks to see. This was supposed to be his redemption fight that puts him back on the map so I understand how painful the loss is. But respect to him for not quitting and giving up. I hope he takes a 3-4 month break and just trains, trains, trains, trains. I hope this fight acts as a wake up call and humbles him. He really works on his biggest flaw like he says he's going to do and comes back from this. I hope we get to see a full body transformation. I have faith in Deji and we all know what he can do, it's just a matter of he will improve and comeback from an L stronger than before. Without being said, congrats to Vinnie for being the most respectful tiktoker on the card and for the great sportsmanship. He showed how decent of a fighter and how much of a good person he was so if it was anyone, he deserves the win.

Do we even have evidence of DEJI losing 22 pounds? This is the same dude that said he was training 5 times in a single day lmao Also the biggest evidence that he's lying about losing 22 pounds is the fact he was eating tacos/hotdogs and getting drunk in Mexico 3 days before his fight WITH his trainers with him. @@kolt471 The reason why the pic on the left looks worse is because he's pushing out his stomach. He looks heavier than before in the right pic if anything. The difference is literally him not pushing his stomach out on purpose. Also Deji was eating tacos/hotdogs and getting drunk with his trainers in Mexico 3 days before the fight. I've never met a dude that was trying to lose weight for a fight but was eating junk food 3 days before the fight. DEJI is a lazy liar. You don't gas after ONE round if you're training cardio and losing 20 pounds....
@kolt4713 жыл бұрын
@@lastnamefirstname4678 There's no way to tell if he's pushing out his stomach. That's just an assumption you're making. Do you have any clips of Deji eating tacos and getting drunk in Cancun Mexico? I've seen clips of his trainers drinking and eating but in those vlogs I don't see any clips of him doing that. I have seen clips of him training in Mexico, though.

@JesseDumontt3 жыл бұрын
Deji really tried to intimidate him with just size and power. NOT the move. Ref literally told him to relax he was moving so much. Moving so much with cardio like that. Cardio that literally lost him the fight 🤦♂️ As KSI said in his video about his brother, what were they actually thinking letting him go into the fight with that dad bod 🤷♂️ Also he said he lost the Jake fight because of cardio so you'd think he'd of learned his lesson and took it seriously. Nope. That's embarrassing and you let a lot of people down Deji 😭
@sean35873 жыл бұрын
You realize that Deji was throwing absolutely godly power punches before his cardio ran out....right? His original game plan was to use his weight to his advantage, which would have worked if Deji had worked on his endurance and cardio. Deji moving like that, in the beginning, was just him warming up.
@maddyroy52493 жыл бұрын
@@sean3587 I know you are fan but if this was the case than we should be praising vinnie even more the fact vinnie as a newbie was able to take that many power punches for 3 rounds and then was still able to precisely hit deji at the last round with power punches literally shows how strong and bigger his strength is compare to current deji.
@sean35873 жыл бұрын
@@maddyroy5249 If someone can't take some punches for 2 rounds then they should literally quit boxing. If Deji had worked on his endurance he would have literally knocked Vinne out. Since Deji was so tired out, he allowed Vinnie to recover from the punches and gain complete control of the fight. You always want to keep consistent pressure on the opponent. Vinnies punches barely had any power behind them, Deji was just gassed out. His heart was failing him there....keep that in mind. Boxing isn't about how many punches you can take, it's about how many you can throw. The thing that saved Vinnie that night was Deji's lack of training for his cardio and endurance. Vinnies punches were extremely wobbly and seemed to have no power behind them.
