When I got into human design I had the belief the MG was the worst ones out of all of them. Now I’m starting to understand means why I behave the way I do. I do start a lot of hobbies and projects and then lose interest how can we stay focused and interested in the one thing?

As a 59 year old I can say from my personal experiences the last thing you need to do is worry about “Sampling”! If you just start to ask your inner authority- its definitely going to tell you. Mine smacks me upside the head now that I take time each day to devote myself to my truth. Just a few minutes of quiet intention, no hours long meditation. As long as you are happy “sampling” you are ok. So much detail in your chart will explain it! Maybe you are around too much distraction and noise with no time to ground and meditate? I really hope that helps a little. Im new to this but have 6 decades of being an MG and I knew thats what I was without knowing the “label”- but not until recently!

It’s amazing the synchronicity and how things lineup. Until tonight I had no clue about human design or manifesting generator. I discovered tonight that I am a manifesting generator. Which makes sense even more what spirit has been teaching me over the last couple months. My whole life I have had to fight and charge headlong into life to get what I need and want. He has been teaching me the art of attracting. Instead of doing. You were also talking about burnout. I have struggled with burnout throughout my life . This all is helping me understand why.

Not really. It's not that healthy for children to develop very fixed ideas let alone such subtle ones, about their personality. Also, once you mandate or mass produce such a curriculum it gets completely cheapened and distorted.

I'm a little bit confused so Mani genarators need to wait to respond as a stratgy but they also has a defined sacral which means to act on your gut feeling "yes or no" in that moment. Wait to respond takes time but acting upon your gut feeling doesn't. how this thing works with mani-geni in that regard, Karen?

Hi love, you can't be a manifesting generator with an undefined throat center. Having a defined throat is a defining characteristic of being a manifesting generator. Yes this is why waiting to respond versus initiate is so essential. If you act on every idea you will misuse your life force and the things you create won’t be satisfying. So you will just burn out. But if it comes to you and you respond, you will have a better idea about what to give your energy to

I really struggle with determining what focus is most important to me, getting stuck with certain creative pursuits can breed doubt and question it all. Ie im an artist, painting etc, as a kid drew little stories too, currebtly writing a long book and picture books. The pictures flow and come easily and is how i see the story but getting the words to fit or feel right has been so hard. How do we sense what's really for us if the spark goes away or flickers? Finally - a resource that gives an example - yay!!! Thanks for including your experience re teaching salsa as that gave clarity to some of the jargon within human design. I'm new to it so I'm looking to gain understanding but am finding those who know speak in a lingo that's not easy to comprehend. I guess what I need to find is a "for dummies" version to help me wade through it all. I'm still not sure of the meaning behind human design, is it just in regards to career? Much of what people mention is working in teams vs working alone. Or informing others of your actions. It feels like a career based modality. The idea of waiting has me wondering: who am I waiting on, why am I waiting, and what am I waiting for? It’s frustrating to have all this energy and wanting to do many things but live with many different chronic illnesses that severly limit my ability and freedom to actually do those things. Having to live with that conflict is a huge part of why I have chronic fatigue as well, the way I see it, as I always have to spend my energy on things that are basic for keeping me alive, which is far from satiesfying or fulfilling to me as a MG.

I am a MG and I just created a free chart of my husband. I don't have his specific birthtime, but his mother told me about what time it was, so I made 5 or 6 charts with different times (around 30 min before and after the time that his mother mentioned) and the chart keeps saying my husband is a MG too. But I cannot believe this at all. That he is a generator I can fully get, because that is what I expected him to be. But a Manifesting Generator like I am and like how you describe an MG to be with all the ideas and manifesting power, well no. He hardly ever has ideas, like I have, really almost never. To me, and I have known him for 20 years, he is a hard working generator. What is going wrong here? He is 48.

Dear Karen, thank you so much for your work! 😘🙏 It is fun to learn from you! I definitely have lots of ideas, and even before I knew about Human Design, I used to experiment a lot. I used to initiate a lot, and a lot of times it worked, too, but I realized, why. I had a question while listening to you, but it kind of has been answered. My experience is that a lot of times things come to me in the form of guidance from inside my being. I started a lot of things that meant to happen even when Life reflected back a no, but the no only meant that not in a way I originally imagined. For example I started to translate The Way of Mastery into Hungarian 6 years ago (still in the process of it because it contains several books), but there were no confirmation from others in the beginning. It is definitely very helpful to know about my HD type though, because usually things work like you described it. And I did have to learn whether something is a mental idea or a divine spark from my Heart - then I can initiate because taking the step is based on the waiting to respond strategy. Not everyone who is a MG is an entrepreneur. I am not sure what I said in this video but that would definitely be a misinterpretation! I might have said that having a direct motor to throat connection means that they can work well independently… and that lends its self well to entrepreneurship, but definitely there are millions upon millions of employee MGs. In the ideal they are given free reign to follow their pace.
