I've watched dozens of your cover videos for the past few years and finally got the fascination. Artists we've grown up with over the years were suddenly there on the radio for us to hear...with little or no backstory or history. Watching your videos is a progressive evolution - and for me that's the fascination...watching your journey. Of course, it helps that you love and play the same type of music that I like...but that's just part of it. It truly is a treat to watch someone evolve, hone their technique and become a master of their craft. You really have something special. I hope the passion never leaves you.

Sina, I'm a 100% disabled Vietnam Veterans, and had my own band in 1967 in San Francisco,California. During the summer of love. When I was in Vietnam we had a song that was always played by groups who came over to put on a show for us. There was one song they all played that became the Anthem of all of over there. And now it is always on a movie about the Vietnam war! And we would love to see you do it? I think that maybe Vicky K. Could do the voice and the rest on background. But I leave that up to you all? There are a lot of us Vets who listens to your songs everyday and back you all. The song is by the (Animals). We got to get out of this place. Thank you!!!!

Hi Juliet. Your amazing insight into the production difficulties is remarkable. There is more on Patreon by Sina about how some of it was done but I will not spoil the magic here. I understand your daughter's reaction entirely to this video because it is an inspired and beautiful creation. More, it is a work of love, We can see the care that Sina and Michael put into these videos. I have yet to figure out how they got there in that it looks like Sina's village is at least several kilometres away, yet I did not see a road. Were the drums dropped in by parachute? And when the drone shows us the parting shot the crew is nowhere to be seen! At times I feel like I have discovered a secret treasure and if I dare look away for an instant, it will be gone..it is that magical! Sina is a blessing given to us and I cherish her and her musicianship and her caring Dad, Michael They are treasures!

Joe , thanks. One of my daughters sang in a rock group for a few years and burned out. Music is a hard business. I was on the road playing rock for five years and hung it up. I'm always happy to encourage young talent to go for it (with their eyes wide open). Best wishes to you from the Midwest USA.
@joetownsend3437 жыл бұрын
J- It's a hard business, that's for sure. Much more than people think. But at least she has the advantage of having her father there, who has a long history in the music business, both performing and production. Sina has a universe of options, though. She is absolutely brilliant, multi-lingual, and with many talents and skills. In a few years, we might easily find her in positions outside of music. Programming, nuclear medicine, physics, science, astronomy or one of many others. She has that kind of mind. Or maybe on stage if she doesn't tire of it. When I watch her play closely, I see those synapses firing in her brain in a way that is simply fascinating. When I've corresponded with her, it's like I'm talking to an old soul. So, who knows what the future will bring, or what path she takes.
@joetownsend3437 жыл бұрын
J Dodson, one other thing... What impact do you think the internet has had on the business? Considering that back in the day, bands had to shlep all over the countryside to get any audience at all, and here, with just this one song, Sina drew an audience of over 150,000 people. That's like filling up Wimbley!! Just for this one song :O> And with almost no production costs. The business has to be upside down with these developments, right?
@jdodson10937 жыл бұрын
Joe, I think your points are spot on. Sina is an innocent looking and acting young lady. She's adorable with the an incredible presence about her. But think about this. Rock is by it's nature an expression of rebellion. Sina isn't the poster child for rebellion! I think this is one of the reasons that we enjoy Sina's vids so much. The music business is consumed with promoting. You Tube is an incredible tool for promotion. Other wise you and I wouldn't be communicating. I would agree that Sina is on her way to whatever she wants to accomplish in her life. My daughter who shied away from music, told me after watching Sina play, that she wished she would have pursued her interest in music too (just as her older sister did). Wow! If I was Sina's dad I would make sure that she has my support no matter what she decides to do in her life. He appears to be a great dad. Joe best wishes to you. And Sina, God bless you and thank you for your music!

Sina in 2018 my wife and went on a cruise during that cruise we went on an excursion that included an almost hour long bus ride. This song came on the radio on the bus and the whole bus sang aloud along with the radio. It was one of the highlights of our first ever cruise. Thank you for letting me relive that for a few minutes with your cover. You not only inspire others especially young girls but you bring back the fondest of memories for all of us older folks that grew up with and still listen to the music you choose to cover. Please keep doing these covers and videos. I've seen the many kudos you've gotten from original drummers there can be no higher honor.
