The Beethoven’s 5th was a touch of class. 👍🏻 🎵 I love it, Camo is absolutely fearless. He is a true sailor at heart.

Living on our boat in Portland, GB, which I have dubbed the windy capital of the UK, we enjoyed being able to sit smugly and say things like 'call that wind? that's a small breeze to us! (our harbourmaster clocked us at 96 knots a couple of weeks ago, we clocked 81). However, less smugly we have to say we are firmly tied to a solid pontoon in a reasonably sheltered marina, avoid leaving the boat when the wind tries to blow us into the sea, and judge our trips out by the number of white caps we can see - so cowards really! Love your videos, love Camo!

Happy Belated Birthday TJ. That wasn't much of a Hurricane there. Been on my Houseboat up to 104mph. We have seen 4 hurricanes while on this boat, no damage to us, thank the Lord for that.

You mentioned at beginning possible ICW some....we live in Cocoa on the Indian River right near the Space Center.... Make sure you blow your horn next time through lol😎😎😎👊👊👊👨✈️👨✈️👨✈️ I work in Orlando airport but we live on the ICW. Love it here! Hurricanes are a way of life. Our roof, fence and trees have been the worst one has done to us since we moved to FL in 2013 from KS. When I retire we want to get a Nordhavn....larger one, 76. Wife wants “lots of room”....lol for our 4 people, two dogs and a cat.

Oh heck yeah that’s awesome that is one serious tank of a vessel. I’ve never been on the 76 but from the photos I’ve seen it’s stunning. That’s a heck of a plan! And we will next time for sure, hurricanes are still kinda crazy to me. I grew up near Cleveland so hurricanes have never been a way of life for me! Lol

What’s next? Heading to Bahamas, West End out of Palm Beach Inlet or Boynton Inlet? I believe if I recall it’s approximately 74 Nautical Miles due West off the Boynton Inlet. You guys have a sweet boat to do this on. Very Lucky. Bahamas and Caymans would be cool, or maybe keep it Domestic and head up the West Coast of Florida and coast along Louisiana, Mississippi, and down to Houston & Galveston Texas then a straight across the gulf trip in calm seas to Marco Island and back around to home port PBI. I’m enjoying following, more Boat detail, your, and procedural stuff would be great & people really tend to enjoy that. Great Team, I think TJ will be first to bail on the live aboard lifestyle! Not a bad word to say about him, just that’s my vote! Haha Good Luck & Stay Safe. Camo is my buddy and my dog, Charlie a Rottweiler a Che’s him. He’s her favorite on the channel. Keep it up! Be safe always.

Oh, and I’m absolutely the biggest fan of Nordhavn Yachts, they are so incredibly roomy, dependable, durable, & space friendly. Let’s get Camo in a LifeVest when he’s going Potty so I don’t have a nervous breakdown, hahaha. Not calling you out, TJ has him on the leash I know. But still....
@adventures3 жыл бұрын
You’ll be happy to know that we have a new spot for Camo to go potty underway up on the boat deck which is much safer and makes us all feel better about it too! The swim platform underway was less than ideal especially since he wouldn’t go to the bathroom while wearing the life jacket...oh dogs lol I agree though it is nice to have space to move around while living on a boat, I can only imagine how tight some quarters can be

Let's talk wind. When you were on the beach and pier you reported the wind was 40 knots and it was your first time in a hurricane. SORRY! According to the Beaufort Wind Scale, 34 to 40 knots is a Gale. 64+ knots is a HURRICANE!
