Fishermen are forced to leave their home for days, weeks or months and confine themselves (a buzzword) in a small space to enter a hostile and often cruel environment. The machinery personnel meanwhile were in charge of the revision, repair and fine-tuning of the machinery that made the ship move and fish. The ship's officers worked from the bridge deciding with the help of the nautical charts the future catches, reviewing the maneuvering and fishing devices, reporting the news ashore, addressing the problems that may arise (whether they are work, coexistence, diseases)….
