Data Analysis is a very broad term. There are multiple paths that you can take. There is business intelligence, data visualisation which is less technology focused. There is data engineer and data scientist which involve advanced tools and technology. You will have to research and pick which route suits you the best. Good luck 😊

Hi roshni, 1}} in my data analyst course i was directly given the csv files upon which i had to do data cleaning, analysis etc...But in company we have to extract the data from the db? can u suggest some keywords related to the db so that company's db interface does not look overwhelming to me? i will search these keywords on the internet to learn more 2}} could u suggest some keywords which can tell us how the journey of the data takes place, right from how the data is generated by the scanners or the users, how it travels and finally how it lands in the database. Basically the flow of the data..... waiting for ur reply..thanks

I think you’re talking about ETL process. I use Alteryx for that purpose. You can search it up you’ll find tons of videos for it.

Should I learn the skills required for it and join as a data analyst and then after good years of experience should i gonfor data scientist role or directly aim for a data scientist role? Complete your degree first. For becoming a data scientist it would be preferable to go for Computer Science. Most of the colleges cover have modules related to data science these days. So check the modules out that is second years’ and then choose your college.
