Glad to see you didn't start off doing a bunch of hard scouting and hunting on the first day. It's really important to acclimate yourself to the height so your body can make more hemoglobin and you won't get altitude sickness. Good luck!

What a spot to camp in....absolutely stunning. It would be a great place just to camp outside of hunting season..... A trailer like Rob has, some fishy poles, an anti bear ANTI kitty equipment. Bring some type of 4 wheeler to bring back lotsya fire wood. Wonder if there is an insulated bucket...could be filled with hot coals, and sit inside a tent or trailer. LFG...great video!

"This resets you". I've been up 4 times this year when its hike-able. I aim for more than 10. I was *dragging* recently, burdened by all sorts of personal stuff. I made it up two weeks ago, You nailed the cleansing feeling it has on the mind/soul. I've got to fit some trips in before the snow. Thanks for the inspiration.

Welcome to Colorado! Hope you really enjoy your time here. We just got back home from a trip to your neck of the woods! I’m sure it’s a bit chilly here but it beats the 100 degree temps in Texas! Definitely do not keep your cooler in the tent! The bears totaled my sisters SUV for a tiny bag of lucky charms!! 😬 They are quick and efficient.
