My father told me that marinated meats in grocery stores are meats that aren't fresh anymore. It's like they use the marinade to mask that the meat isn't fresh. You'll taste the difference if you're used to eating fresh meat all the time. I'm not entirely sure of this tho because we don't buy it now. My mom buys meat (not marinated) in grocery stores sometimes and we could tell the difference if the meat she bought was fresh or not by how it tastes after cooking because maasim na sya. We always buy meat sa palengke.

in my experience, better buy at meat shops for fresh meats, not in the grocery ones! in my side, i don't really trust the market's meats since it's the same with other shops, di nauubos, also i'm scared baka nacontaminate na ng pests (like daga or ipis)

Avoid buying marinated meat sa supermarket. I was advised by someone who works there na yung mga marinated meat is yung mga karne na masisira na or iba na yung kulay kaya ni’mamarinate nila para hindi na obvious na hindi na fresh. Better to do it yourself, buy nalang the fresh ones.

Yes thankfully he doesn't na after the neuter. The first 2 days of the braces was really hard for me although it wasn't that painful, just bothering lang and hard to eat. Thank you po!
