Our minds are in a constant state of judging things. Good or bad. Stressful or unstressful. Smart or dumb. The problem is that judging has become such a habit and occurs so quickly that one often takes our labelling/judging of situations as reality, when in fact it is only an interpretation. So I destress by closely watching my thoughts and then let them go. Eventually my mind empties of all thoughts except for awareness of existing. I also look at videos of Kyoto gardens. Especially the rock ones. I want my mind to reflect the peace of the garden. ❤

I'm an introvert too Oliver and I don't go places that are crowded. I live alone in Scotland im 45 years old and I am heavily influenced by people on KZbin, like Nami, Plan D, Linn form Japan and more and my meals are usually based on what they eat. You have given me lots of new ideas for delicious meals, it's become one of my hobbies. Your haircut is lovely and I know how you feel sitting at the barbers lol 😂, I have waist length hair and recently got it dyed.....it took over 2.5 hours. I really enjoy your honest videos. Keep up the good work and stay blessed and healthy 🙏.P.S, I took up street photography which helps me when I'm out alone, think you'd enjoy it, just an idea.❤

Hello from Columbus, Ohio USA! I am 55 and can relate to some of the same things as yourself. I find I like being by myself alot like you and found that it is nice to find someone, anyone male or female that feels alot like ourselves. Trust me there are PLENTY of people that feel the same! It is nice to have someone to talk to, maybe not everyday but just someone to talk to or I found even some type of pet is helpfull just to breakup the day in and day out of life. One thing about a barber, save yourself the money and buy your own clippers. I use a #2 and do it myself. Its actually pretty easy and likes fine. One other thing your pasta with the ham and brussel sprouts you said was no good, you needed some type of sauce. Garlic and butter or some heavy cream would have been a good addition in my opinion. Anyways keep on keepin on!

I saw a video of you and loved your lifestyle. Quiet and contemplative, that's what I think about living in Tokyo. I loved your new pots, I like the way you season the soup, it has a lot of flavor in my point of view. Try adding tomato sauce to these noodles and make a wetter sauce, maybe it will be better, maybe pasta with garlic and oil will be tasty too. I've never eaten this cabbage, here in Brazil it's not so often to see. Kisses and take care, destroy the salon because you should talk so much about yourself. 😅😘

Hi Oliver. I come from a family of mountain farmers. Unfortunately, I no longer live in the mountains but I would love to grow and harvest my own food. The taste is so much better than the stuff we get in the supermarkets. Loved seeing the plum blossoms. What do they smell like? I love the delicate fragrance of apple blossoms. I don't get nervous at the beauty salon but I don't like it either. I find it a boring experience and I don't really like someone touching my hair. 🤣 That's why I cut my hair at home. I like your new frying pan. I may consider purchasing something like it in the future as I like the removable handle. What was the scent of your incense? I wish I could burn incense but sadly I have asthma so my lungs won't allow it. Another great video. Thank you for sharing.
