Thank you for showing us those beautiful cherry blossom trees, I love spring. I have moved more than 15 times. 7 years ago I moved from Spain to the United Kingdom and here in the UK I have moved 4 times. Although it is hard and difficult to change countries when you are alone, it is also curious to see the cultural differences, it is very positive. You meet new people, different ways of living and you learn to adapt. For me the most difficult thing is the weather. In Spain I enjoyed sunshine all year round, here in the UK it almost always rains but it is a very beautiful country that has given me many good things. Living alone gives me the freedom to move around and do what I want. I have suffered many negative changes in my life but those changes have made me the person I am today. See you in the next video. ❤

I am a single woman from Hawaii. Hoping one day to be a single woman in Japan or Portugal , maybe Spain. In that order. My husband passed 8yrs ago. Doing a lot of cooking, trying to learn new dishes outside my usual. Just discovered your channel with this one. Liked and Subscribed. I will follow your journey. Hopefully I'll learn more about Japan thanks to your time and efforts in sharing yourself with us. Mahalo.

Not my usual behavior to reply like this but when I came across your comment and feel touched do not know why. Wish all the best to you, your child, and your future journey. I live in Japan too and big welcome, no matter where you choose to live you will be totally fine.

Hi Oliver! I have had several difficult changes in my life, but you learn from all of them. Now I have more experience and think things more calmly. Without those difficult moments, I wouldn't be who I am today. You cook with great love and care. Have you ever worked hard cooking and it didn't turn out well? Thanks for your videos. Greetings from Ireland Oliver you really show the beauty of Tokyo and Japan. I long to visit one day and till then your super Vlogs are great to keep me dreaming
Hi Oliver. Third video I’ve seen and love it as well. I’m in Los Angeles and we also have Daiso stores. But I notice you have more variety than we do. I go there once a week so I know the merchandise. I also can’t believe how inexpensive food is there. Here you cannot but anything for less than a dollar. It’s all really expensive I love spring in Tokyo that’s when I visited Your cooking is so delicious. I’m slowly learning from you. Thank you. 👌🏻😀

Slowly making my way through your videos. The slow style is comforting and I appreciate the aesthetics. I’m American, but I am in the process of moving from Iceland to Norway. I don’t even know how many times I’ve moved. I start to get “antsy” and need a change after six months, which means a long trip or a move.
Hi Oliver, Thanks for the video and thoughts shared. It gives a good self reflection to myself - really enjoy reading your “thoughts” (through subtitles 😅) Looking forward to more videos

Both river views were very interesting and, as you said, very different atmosphere or vibe to them. I really liked the blossoms floating on the water. That seemed less sad than seeing them crushed under many walking feet. But i suppose the brief life of the sakura is also part of the beauty

You asked about the semesters. I assume you mean the school semester. Are you a teacher or student? I teach, and our summer semester in the U.S. just began. For some schools it started a week ago. For me, this week, 6/10. Our spring semester ended May 15. From your video, I can see that they sell many grocery items in small packages in Japan. That's nice. Here, they want us to buy big packages, and they force us to buy anywhere from three to six packages at a time to get the reduced price. They do that to sell more, and to move perishable items, so they rot in our homes and not in the store.
