Gurla, as a fellow solo renter, here are tips to prevent humidity in your place: - the low cost option is to open the windows for about 30 mins at 8pm to let the moisture inside to escape. Then the following day, open the windows from 9am to 3pm. Why? You're taking advantage of thermodynamics. Why not before 9am? Cuz then you'll just draw the moisture back in since the temps outside are still cold - buy reusable dehumidifiers and put them in your cupboards and closets. You'll know what it looks like when you see it in Lazada. It has a a base to heat the humidifier and draw the moisture out of it. -the high cost option is get a big dehumidifier (the kind you have to plug in an outlet) and an air purifier. The air purifier catches mold that floats in the air minimizing the chances of their growth. -if you do see molds, spray them with vinegar. Let it sit for a few minutes before wiping. The acid from the vinegar will inhibit mold growth. - for the landlords, please use anti-mold paint. It's a hassle for both renters and owners. You'll be repainting walls less frequently if you use the right paint
