Love your new haircolor. For the carpet: salt or white vinegar or baking soda combined with very hot water. You have to repeat it a vew times. I use ox gall soap for nasty stains, it never fails. But putting no effort and let go is also a very, very good option😊😊😊

Thank you! And your tip for the carpet is just 😍 I‘ll try that out and see how it goes!

Well I hope you can save your carpet. If they don't sell ox soap where you live,let me know. I can send you a piece of my soap in an envelope so you can try it. 😊

Oh! I forgot to mention the rug. Someone may have already suggested this, but just dye the whole thing! It’ll only cost you the bottle of dye and a couple hours of your time, mostly idle time while it sits in the pot. I’ve even used turmeric and coffee instead of synthetic dyes! :)

Oh my gosh, your hair looks amazing !!! Thanks for recalling us that when life gets messy and stressful, it is so OK to rely on conveniance foods and to spend more money. I really needed to hear that today !

Hi Jenny! I work in downtown San Diego (insane traffic there and back), and my days are crazy busy. I take the weekends to recharge (it takes the full 2 days!) and just RELAX (sometimes in bed all morning!). I think it’s wonderful that you give yourself that time and listen to your body and what your body says to do. If we don’t, that’s when I think we fall ill (or begin experience negative reactions/symptoms such as headaches, anxiety, etc). I ALWAYS look forward to your videos! In a sea of unrelatable content, yours is so real and “normal.” Even just from the way you film, it’s not fluffy or over the top, it’s easy on the eyes and your content again, is real. :) Hugs from San Diego, CA!

I would write an email to the cleaner and attach pictures. The carpet looks like it has been burned out. The cleaner made a mistake. It wasn't fair that they didn't take responsibility. At least they could have apologized, but I understand that you don't want to put more energy into it. I really like your hair, it's cool. :) Love Ziggy :) (sorry for my english)

Hello Jenny! As always, I loved this video! I'm also living alone and on a budget and can't tell you the amount of times so far that I've tried to fix things I broke or damaged and ended up having to replace them and paying more (the amount for the fix that never worked + the amount of the new item or repair). What I found is the best strategy is to just swallow the bitter pill and move without much regret because otherwise you'd drive yourself crazy thinking about what you could have done differently, etc., but also trying to learn the lesson that although it might be wasteful to throw it away, well, the damage has been done. You could also recycle or reuse parts of the carpet as cleaning cloths. Maybe you can use the other side of the carpet and that would be it! But don't feel frustrated. I'm sorry to hear that you've been stressed out - managing these things on your own can be stressful! I wish you the best!

If you’re still in need of a carpet, I recently found two on the street, took them home, washed them. But i don’t actually need both 🤓 Am happy to give u one of them! (I live in F‘hain) ☺️

I‘m reading this only now, sorry! Thank you so much for asking me, it‘s very sweet of you! To be honest I think I prefer my life without a carpet. As much as I like the look of it, it can be a ginormous cat hair magnet and I have realized that having a big carpet always made my studio look dirtier than it actually was. So I guess I am enjoying a carpet-free life for now! But thank you anyway! 🤍 And wow, good job finding two on the street for free!

Love the new hair! It suits you a lot. Regarding the carpet I agree with you that I wouldn't waste any more time and money on going back and arguing with them. Someone here suggested you write an email and I agree with that. Anything that can be done without spending any more resources would do. I do not usually like to let things go but sometimes, as you said, it ends up costing you more. In Malta if something like that happens the customer would usually give the company a good trashing on social media, telling everyone what happened and to avoid the company 😂😂

Thank you so much! I tried to look for an email address after reading this suggestion here in the comments and couldn’t find any. Oh well, it is what it is! I also briefly thought about leaving a bad Google review but I am just not the kind of person who likes doing this, despite how bad my experience with something was! I’m still thinking what the heck to do with that carpet, for now it’s just living rolled up behind my couch 😂

Sorry to hear that you've been going through a rough time. Hope things get better soon!! Could you try to dye the rug a darker color so the spot blends in more? Love the hair!
@TheSimplicityDiaries4 ай бұрын
Thank you! ☺️ I actually thought about dyeing the rug to conceal the stain, but to be honest I know myself and probably will never get to do it. I’ll just procrastinate it until I’m fed up with the carpet and get rid of it 😂 the rug is so thick that I don’t know how I could dye it myself, probably I’ll try to give it another clean. Or I’ll procrastinate even the cleaning and get rid of it after I’m tired of still having it in my apartment as a reminder of this whole annoying situation! 😂🙈 but thank you for your suggestion! I’ll think about what to do with it! Thanks for watching and have a great day! 🤍

I'd be too anxious to go back to the laundry D: you look wonderful with purple hair! I dream of purple or blue but my hair was dark for too long to safely lighten them, AND I have no money for it, but that's a secondary problem.

I kind of choked when it was time to pay, ngl this sudden need to change my style was kind of expensive, so I totally get it! Maybe you can ask a friend to help you dye your hair and do it yourself, once your hair will be ready for it? Anyway wishing you all the best and may you always have great hair regardless of its color! 🤍

Love the new hair! For 30 euros they could at least tell you they were unable to remove the stain. Is the carpet reversable? Can you still use it upside down?
@TheSimplicityDiaries5 ай бұрын
Yeah, they could and they should have. It was just a series of unfortunate circumstances, I guess. The person who gave me the carpet wasn’t the one I spoke with in the first place and didn’t even know the final price. Whatever, it is what it is! Unfortunately the stain is visible on the other side too 😅 still thinking about what heck I’ll be doing with that carpet 😂

Answering your question: First of all, keep your calm and your inner peace. But don't argue. Don't fight. Your happiness is more important than an Ikea rug. If that establishment does not offer you anything to compensate you, tell them that they are losing you as a customer, and put a claim in writing. No fights, No unpleasant words. Then forget about everything, enjoy life, and keep your peace.
