Shortcake, is the theme of this month perhaps older series being revived? Because I think I'm starting to notice a pattern here - definitely don't mind it here, though! Again, armor wife is better than sword wife to me, but you know I'm a sucker for the idea of being _completely surrounded_ by the body of my partner, in whatever form that may be~ Great work on the tavern ambience in this one! Not sure if it's something I've heard from you before, but it's nice to know that we're not totally alone in this world. Honestly, I'm a little sad that the two of them mentioned being in their "humanoid form" here, because I wanted to imagine the listener was just talking to his sword, looking like a lunatic. And I'm still hoping that the adventurer's equipment will be completed by an enchanted shield, who is a HUGE masochist as long as it's for her wielder's sake. Seems too good to pass up.
