Today only KBDProductionsTV we’ll be heading up to Barrie, Ontario, Canada to do another Stealth Camping video, and you guys all guessed it on my social media, that’s right… this time we’ll be camping at Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen for 24 hours of Chicken goodness.
I decided to start our day when Popeye’s opens which is at 11am and eat a spicy Lunch,
then later get some snacks, go for a few walks, set up our stealth camper with our inflatable air mattress , play a game in the comfort of our bed and have an awesome dinner and of course a late night snack. After that busy day we’ll hit the hay get lots of rest and wake up to a brand new day of eating more Popeye’s food.

So this takes some work but its way better than honey on the biscuit. Its honey IN the biscuit: -Before eating meal, cut biscuit in half like cutting a bagel, then add butter to the interior of biscuit on both sides. -Close biscuit. -Eat portion of meal to allow butter to melt. -Then open biscuit back up add honey to interior of biscuit. -Close biscuit and eat rest of meal this allows the buttery honey to soak into the biscuit. -After done with the main course your delicious buttery biscuit dessert is ready to eat!

I've never been to Canada but I lived in Maine for a few years and tried Poutine for the first time about 20 years ago. How can any human being not like this yummy comfort food? I'm not a huge gravy fan but my love for all things cheese quickly cancelled that out.

I've actually had Popeyes only once. Back in 2018, my parents and I traveled over 3 hours to Indiana to see family for a Thanksgiving gathering. On the way, we stopped at Popeyes, and my dad bought us lunch there. I remember it being pretty good. Brings back memories for me.

I only ate at a Popeye's once, over in San Luis Obispo, California...their original chicken sandwich was the best I've ever had in my life. I was stealth camping along the central coast, went on a crazy hike all over the Los Osos Oaks Preserve and was soooo hungry when I returned to SLO. Seriously, that was the most satisfying fast food experience of my life. Got a cream soda, it was icy cold and BOMB under the summer sun. The fries were pretty good too. They even let me try the spicy house sauce since I was a noob. I honestly preferred the sandwich without it. Love your videos since I can't really eat out anymore (food allergies). Very relaxing and totally artistic/perfect in execution.

Who else remembers when Ken used to despise pickles? Anyway, I remember when they brought it to edmonton first, as their test city, went the second day it arrive (by the time I found out the first day, it was too late) i waited in the drive thru line for probably an hourish. They wouldn’t allow anyone to order it off of Skip the Dishes, so if you wanted it, you had to wait lol.

My favorite chicken part is the thigh. I have often put honey on my fried chicken and biscuits. But what is usually served in many chicken places is “honey sauce,” which I think is mostly flavored corn syrup. Of course they’ve gotta save a buck. I would think the perfect breakfast item at a Popeyes would be beignets and cafe au lait, considering the Louisiana connection. Another thing they could consider is a chicken biscuit with an egg and cheese.

Great Episode. Glad you tried the Mac & Cheese. I would also Recommend the red beans and rice side. The Mashed Potatoes are similar to KFC’s but the gravy has a nice kick to it. Would like to see The poutine brought to the US looks enjoyable. If Popeyes had breakfast… Biscuits and gravy or a chicken biscuit sandwich seems like a good way to start the day. Maybe they could introduce Louisiana style Beignets to Popeyes fans

Popeyes breakfast could look like waffles and chicken tenders with some sort of spicy syrup could be flavored biscuits may be raising and cinnamon biscuits on a fresh hot coffee maybe even a latte or could be Savory biscuits chicken gravy with sausage in hash brown rounds in a great New Orleans style Jazzy coffee😊
