So important to be authentic. It reminds me of a poem. -If I want to be free, I've got to be me. Not the me I think my partner thinks I should be. Not the me I think my kids think I should be. Not the me I think my neighbors think I should be. Not even the me I think my church thinks I should be. If I want to be free, I've got to be me, so I had better get to know who "me" really is. I can't remember the author, and I've changed it slightly, but the substance holds true. Be the you that you truly are! The authentic you. Thank you again for your insights, Scott. You are a kindred spirit.

With a little help from Google… I think it was Bob Proctor, Canadian author who passed earlier this year.

@@hughwolfe1176 👍 yes, I heard it first from Bob, but I think he even quoted it as being from someone else? It's true no matter who it came from. Bob was a good mentor, his passing saddened me.

Scott, this was truly inspiring! It's all about Honor, isn't it? Honesty with oneself, authenticity, hard questions, hard decisions, and thereafter, hard work.

Great words my friend! I so relate to your perspective, your path is your truth! Usually, if you are on the wrong path, challenging life events, will knock one back onto the real path of Truth.

Hi John. I think the message has mixed reviews. But, as you said, your path is your truth...or your truth is your path. Life challenges definitely force you to focus.

I often see persistence and our struggles to keep on related to that of a fly on the inside of a window trying to get out...bouncing against the glass feaverishly and relentlessly...when only two inches to the side, the window is wide open. I think it takes stopping sometimes and seeing things differently in order to move forward.

Hi Scott - I came across your channel a while ago as I’ve been moving towards northern New Mexico. I saw you mention something about people looking to created economic development so they can live here year’round. I’m here now. If you’d like to discuss bringing more economic and cultural development to the area, I’m interested in that. Be well!

@@jamesbrede8700 I don’t understand the point you make. Are you bipolar and make rash decisions? If anyone makes rash decisions they are decisions. If it turns out well then great. If not that sucks and may cost one way or another. I want to understand your comment and may be off in my interpretation. All the best.
