Although that is not expensive you are still overpaying by about 2,000 - 2,500 baht. I pay 5,500 fully furnished right on the BTS Line in Bangkok with a swimming pool and gym. My Thai wife who lived in Chiang Mai said that should be about 3,000 - 3,500 baht (at least for a Thai person).

Mate, you're killing it. This is the type of content I love. Also, really enjoy seeing the the shift in production quality compared to your epic journeys. You guys, Steve Yalo and Karl Watson really inspired me to take my own camera along with me travelling and I just recently finished the editing. Gave me a bit of a shock as to how much effort you guys put into your vids, keep it up :)

Chiang Mai is devoid of tourists, and from memory this began 2 years ago at the beginning of Covid. Expect prices to be crazy low until this pandemic is over. I am paying 5,000 THB for a 1 bedroom house with large kitchen in Sansai with more privacy than an apartment 8 k from the city and 1 k from Ruamchok/Meechock which i truly prefer.

People often forget that you can save money working in your home country, and then live on 5% divident from stocks.. To live cheap but totally okay in Thailand you would need about $200.000 in capital invested in divident stocks with at least 5% divident, then every income above that would be a luxery. That is a much simpler way to be able to live abroad in southeast asia full time or 3-4 months per year.

Let's be clear to people thinking about going to Thailand to earn a living is that it is illegal to work in Thailand without a work permit which are very difficult to obtain! Irrespective of whether you are tax registered in your country of origin, it's not about tax in the Thai Governments eyes.

Question for you Patty or anyone who may know, I have decided to sell everything and travel while I’m young enough that I can. So being completely new to all of this and being a US citizen can I fly anywhere one way then decide where to go from there where to go next without a return ticket? Also how long am I able to stay in another country, can I legally stay up to say 6 mo without a return ticket until I decide where I want to go next? I really hope to meet up with you all some day this is a big dream for me, I’ve always vacationed in Mexico and absolutely love it and now ready to expand to anywhere and everywhere! I have so many questions I don’t know where to start! Your new biggest fan! Love you all Bugeteers!

We hope to retire at 62 and 57, and live in a few countries for a few years. We hope to live on my SS check and leave our retirement plans alone to grow for many more years. So, I am looking for something that an old timer can learn to do, just to supplement our income. I don’t think we will need extra income but even an extra $500 a month would be great for fun money. At that point I will be a retired Retirement plan consultant...is that something that could be taught on skill share ??? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Oh, and Chris is no longer with his cute girlfriend ?

Well, when you are closing in on 40 you cant eat "delicious food" all the time any more if you want at least 30 more healthy years. So, how hard is it to find stores where you can buy like eggs, cream, coconutoil asf? ALL thai-food contain loads of sugar and as a pre-diabetic that is just something I cannot eat everyday..

Dude that's 6 USD per day. Very cool. Place is good enough. But please this guy is where he is 100% because of luck. From that interview all I can take away is he was lucky to get a sweet deal with skill share. He makes Ad sens and I don't know who he is helping with content but I've seen his #'s. He needs to work on his own channel. The reason he lives so cheap is because that's all he can afford. Not the same as being successful.Great content.👍👏
