I lived for free for 24 hours in Tokyo, Japan! Throughout this challenge I discovered simple life hacks for free food, free transportation, and attempted an impossible food challenge! In terms of the food challenge part of the video I found foods like dollar meals, fried chicken, chili cheese fries, burgers, and also a massive eating challenge of a Japanese street food curry! While walking around I also discovered unique Japanese vending machines, and saw many 7-elevens (brunch challenge again soon)! Although some people find Japan expensive I found it quite cheap and not only survived, but discovered many free things within these 24 hours! Enjoy this impossible challenge and money hack of a video from Tokyo!

Avery Duong Hey my point is not to degrade him, all his followers would have the same mentality & would live life in the cheapest way possible. Surviving on free foods, going 5 miles to eat 1$ pizza. Life isn’t about living cheap, it’s all about being happy & of course humans are never happy when they use the word “Please can I get a free!!!” Which is what this guy endorses in every video of his 🤦‍♂️
@tinydough8746
@tinydough8746 4 жыл бұрын
@@shadowsmessage Not all his followers would have the same mentality and live life the cheapest way possible. There's the ones who watch this purely for entertainment purposes, and think "Wow, can't believe Bobby actually pulled it off! That's pretty cool!". Then there's the viewers who watch this for tips and tricks to get free food/stuff, because maybe, just maybe, they aren't as financially stable at the moment, and can't afford to purchase anything. Who knows, they might've been starving for days, eh? As for your quote on "Life isn't about living cheap, and it's all about being happy". Everyone has a different definition of "Happiness". You don't need to money to be happy. You don't need to spend $500 for shoes to be happy, you don't need to buy a $500,000 car to be happy, nor do you need to pay $20 for a simple meal to be happy. And you know what they say when you're not happy, go find something to make you happy. So if you don't enjoy videos like this, you can go ahead and watch the millions of other videos that are available on youtube that won't make you angry or disgusted.

It's actually in every Eastern culture. Tip is like.. "what is this? Why u give me more money? Is it kind of harassment?" But some will gladly receive that of course. People that loves money. Actually giving tip is weird logically. Why u give them tip? They're not some kind of artist or whatever it is that u must show your appreciation by support them with money. They also not beggar or poor people that so desperately need money.

My de-facto cheapo strategy when I was living in Tokyo was to head to any of the numerous 'Yayoi Ken' restaurants and order the cheapest 'ichiju sansai', a set meal (which is either grilled miso mackerel or deep fried chicken) with unlimited top ups (it's self service, so don't feel shy) of plain, white rice. I would basically fast till as long as I can till about 3-4 pm (there was once I hit a 6 pm record, but it was the summer and I did nothing but hang out at Tower Records listening to records) and head to Yayoiken and eat 6 bowls of rice or something. It's immensely fulfilling for a mere 590 yen. The meal will last you an entire day. Comes with free cold unlimited green tea, pickles and miso soup too. It gets pretty packed during rush hours, but at other times, you can sit there as long as you wish without anyone bothering you, which basically means you can eat as much rice as you like. Some of these branches (like the one in Ginza, several in Shinjuku) are open 24 hours!!!!! That's insanely awesome.

Hey bobby. Loving your videos. Discovered your channel few weeks ago and I have been watching your videos at least once every one to two days. Loving it so far. Just 1 tiny suggestion, you might want to learn a few phrase that might be useful in your travel for each country. For example, you can say "Arigatou gozaimas" instead of "Thank you" when thanking people in Japan. This way, they can understand you and some of them might respect you showing your effort to say it in their language. Not saying you have to learn every words in their dictionary of course. Just the very basic word. All in all, nice video and great channel, Bobby!

Yooo! Thank you for this suggestion, I love languages (constantly progressing at French and Spanish), so I should def incorporate more of this within all languages (no matter how hard they may seem haha)
