💚 Hi Sarah, new to your channel. I was impressed that you even do this as so many people do not do a budget. I hope you are accessing the discounts on electricity, gas, water and council rates that are available to pensioners. I'm not sure which state you live in, but here in WA, pensioners get 50% off their water and council rates, and a discount on the service charge on electricity (not sure on gas service charges because I only have bottled gas, for which there are no discounts). 😀 I was surprised that you have banking fees, but if it is a business account, then WOW! Could you find a fee free account with a community bank (like Bendigo Bank)? Also some community banks offer fee free accounts for pensioners, not just age pensioners. I wish you luck in the coming year and hope that more tutoring and more Etsy sales will see you through. PS: I noticed that there were no housing costs like rent or mortgage, nor petrol, unless that was the $1000 for car, but I thought that was for servicing.

Banking fees? wtf. Is there no bank in Australia with no fees? I pay zero fees in nz

There are for students and pensioners, with my personal and online account being free, this fee is for my credit card and business account

I don't share everything online and that expense is something shared within my family so I don't show it in my budget

@@BudgetofOZ so then your income figure is actually AFTER rent/mortgage has been taken out? Otherwise the math doesn't work.
