WOW ... Mr. McMilan is a true hero. He should write a book and share insights on how he confronted hate and injustice, and how he is now a successful leader. Congratulations.

It is always refreshing to hear Ernest McMillian share his perspective of the history of the Black/African American experience. This history should never be forgotten.

Actually, there were FIVE little girls. No one ever mentions little Sarah Collins, who was hurt very badly, but survived. She's had numerous eye surgery's since then. I remember hearing where she asked the Birmingham City Council for help with medical bills, this was maybe 20 yrs ago (?), and they said no. I thought that was awful that they told her no. I hope that they changed their mind later on and did help her. I don't know that they did, though. But when someone mentions 4 little girls, I say FIVE little girls!
