This was wonderful. I love how they've created such a loving & peaceful home while consciously choosing to split rental costs with family, via a duplex, and even trading to offset hobby costs. As he said "This is the beginning.". I see big future goals being accomplished by this couple. You both are awesome!

I like how this video evolved from a cheap apartment/houseplants video into a cat video. I think the wife makes it all work and the husband is supporting her. All those plants on shelves, but the cats are not wrecking the place, that shows some patient calm leadership by the wife in making it all work. She knows just how to nudge the cats into enough obedience to make it work. And she probably does the same to the husband. And they all seem happy. Kudos to her.

This is a great video. I’m a believer in family members purchasing multi units similar to this video. My four family members split $3000 rent. Can you imagine that? 3000÷4 units. We paid the bill off in 15 years. That’s what you call smart finances, and generational wealth. We created a trust that when anyone passed, The property automatically went to the soul survivors. No probate issues.

Oops! She didn't get the memo: Those plants will grow and take over the apartment! That monstera is called that for a reason. lol. I started collecting plants during the pandemic; at one point I had over 100. Now I'm down to under ten. I had to make some difficult choices.

@@FelineJungle I consolidated three sansevierias into one pot; they don't need a lot of soil to grow and they say those help purify the air(?). I planted the hoya varieties in one large pot, along with my pilea, they look nice together; did the same with the pothos varieties. The tradescantia and hoya carnosa looked better by themselves so I put one in the bedroom and one in the bathroom. I took the tall plants, like the fiddle-leaf fig tree, to work because they'll need a tall ceiling. The rest either died or were gifted, like the monstera, I broke it apart to give away.

That’s the first time I ever heard of Bensonhurst being deep down. It’s always been up. Downtown is now called Dumbo. But the new New Yorkers do call New Jersey West New York! Go figure???
