Also it says a lot about you as a person, and a KZbinr that after meeting a fan you invited them to join you both and had a great time!, you don't see that often (and when you do it's always scripted/a friend of theirs) so it was nice to see you being so friendly and humble as usual. Hiking, camping AND delivery pizza and ice cream? You ARE living the dream! 😂

The last time I was in Glacier I was 13 years old and it was 1993. My brother and my dad were going on a bike trip through the Rockies and my mom and I met them every evening after hiking and painting (for me… I’ve done Plein air landscape painting since I was a very little kid… always been an artist!) and writing (my mom… she’s a writer and teacher). This video reminded me of our trip so much. We went over Logan pass as the sun came up because we were meeting my dad and brother after they biked up going to the sun. They wanted an early start because they didn’t allow cyclists during peak hours because the road is just too busy and narrow. But the great thing about being there so early was that we had the road to ourselves and it was beautiful watching the sun come up and the light change as we went up to the pass. I have such great memories of that trip. Your video brought it all back so vividly to me! My Dad died a few months ago suddenly and very unexpectedly and having those memories of adventures together is something I cherish so much. I loved hearing my Dad tell me and my mom about his daily adventures and my mom and I telling him about our day as we set up camp in our tent and old Toyota van from the mid 80s, made dinner all together, and laughed and told stories. Having adventures with good people in beautiful places is one of the best things there is, I think 💗

I LOVE Glacier! I do the same thing and drive in before 6am lol. I have 2 pups and take them to explore lakes outside the park like Lower St Mary lake. Fun fact- my dog is named Jack after Jackson Glacier (he was a stray in the area with a similar story to camper) :) If you haven't left MT yet and are heading west there is a cool bison range to drive through where people see lots of animals (CSKT Bison Range) and Lolo national forest is beautiful.

I actually just did this hike about a month ago, it was absolutely awesome. You're not alone on that visitor permit system... I didn't know and showed up to the west gate and had to park outside and walk up the highway into the park... not ideal. At least they open it in the evening though, made for some cool sunset shots driving through the park. It's interesting seeing you show up lately at a lot of the places I just went through on my own trip, getting to relive those memories through a different lens.

That is one of the most gorgeous hikes I've ever been on. Glad to see that large group of big horn sheep still thriving. When I went (10 yrs ago) it was late Sep and the weather changed from sunny to rain to snow depending on elevation. It was absolutely amazing and far less people along the way so it felt very secluded. People have mixed feelings about swimming in the lake since natural preservation is a hot topic; if in doubt, stay out. Thanks for bringing back beautiful memories.

One time we entered Glacier Park from the west entrance and barely got past a scary forest fire that came across the road behind us. Since we couldn't go back out that way, we had to take the Road to the Sun eastbound in order to eventually get out of the park. In that direction, it seemed like we were mostly on the outside lane and there were many places where there was no wall or barrier and the pavement just ended at the edge of the drop off. There were also places where part of the pavement had fallen off and left a nice "V" shaped notch in the pavement where we could get an even better view of space below. Needless to say, it was the scariest ride I've ever taken! Oh, and by the way, our young grandson was crying and screaming for most of that trip -- but we had more important things to be concerned about. Thankfully, we all survived and our grandson grew up to become a delightful young man, but I'll never forget that very scary road. FYI, the reason the park insisted on our wearing seat belts was that, if there was accident, it makes it easier for them to find the bodies!

Nikki - Your "Just Do It" attitude is AWESOME to see!! You are in INSPRATION to many. Be safe & have fun🙂 When I was 18 a buddy & I motorcycled from our homes on Vancouver Island to Calgary then down to Glacier National Park, on thru Idaho & Washington state and returning to Vanc. Island after 3 weeks. We camped along the way , visited local little towns, the tourist info centres and hung out with locals. Way too much fun meeting many really cool people along the way. You are doing what 99.9% of the people in Canada & the States can only dream of. I know its not all unicorns & rainbows but that's OK b/c its those experiences that really push the boundaries of most peoples comfort zone. Not only does that strengthen & build our self confidence but its those memories (the tough times, the oh crap times) that really stick out over the decades. Thanks for helping me find my memories from that trip. I really enjoy your videos. Cheers from Vancouver, Canada

What an AWESOME video. Definitely a much higher caliber than any other KZbinr that may claim you are copying them. Fun, wholesome, great personality, drama free. You are the best female vlogger in a truck 😉

I was just there back on the 30th of August the going to the Sun Road was beautiful highly recommended I am unable to do most of the stuff that you did but I still drove the road. Every corner had a new and even more beautiful scenery. Thanks 4 showing me all the things I can't go see.

I love your adventures and I love your videos! It’s also great to see you and Sarah having so much fun together. Your dog Camper is great company but it’s nice to see the videos with your cousin or mom and/or dad. Not only do you seem to be happier but you have so much spirit that you make everyone around you happier. You have a great life force; keep on living your dream and thank you for sharing!

You are so amazing. What stores do you usually do your grocery shopping at? Do you stock up on water? Can you possibly do some in store grocery shopping videos? I think it would be awesome if you could show how you do your full shopping trip
