If you make such a base again, try to place chain link doors inside your base, so you can shoot them if you open that door and not lose your stuff if they kill you

Great vid I enjoyed it but another cool thing is that turrets shoot through fences so they can hit them but they can’t hit it meaning having a turret in every direction will make it near impossible to raid

I love that landmines are a slept on defense. First time I played Rust, I ringed my inner and outer walls with like 300 mines. This one dude kept trying to offline me and kept getting blown up. Legit saved my wipe lol

You should try making an entire base that looks empty / already raided, but really all your loot is stored solely in hidden stashes. Maybe stone fortifications around a wood 1x2 shack (or pre-raided looking base with missing doors), so they can't see you access the stashes but then if they get inside they assume you're just a newbie when they see it's just some basic newbie scraps. Some cloth, some animal fats, and like 18 individual rocks. Maybe even integrate some map geometry exploiting to make it extra hard to find stashes.

If you think about it, you don't really need an air lock lol you would see if someone was door camping you. But since you had once, it would have also been beneficial to make a honeycomb for the entrances so you don't get killed/looted trying to go in and out of your airlocks

as a solo landmines are my best friend ngl. I regularly craft them as my line first of defence i dont even bother with a compound. its stops grubs and smaller groups from raiding me. I should mention that i will craft 3k gp worth of landmines in one sitting. I memorize all my paths into base and make a some nice peaks on roof and pick them off while theyre trying to clear mines. Ive only been raided by zergs who can throw 30 rockets at me freely. anything less than that, they give up pretty quickly. ive always wanted to make a video of it but give up coz my PC is crap. I would love if you made a shop with a bunch of rockets as a solo and then put hundreds of landmines down, its honestly so satisfying
