I was intending to bring my son to Watamu for Christmas to reward him for his performance in school. We live in eastern Kenya and he really loves the outdoors. Being a single dad, it really makes me happy and proud to see him work hard in school and get to enjoy his holidays. Thanks guys for making this amazing video. I recently moved to watamu, your guides made the move easier and gave us some local landmarks to visit. Sunset beach lab is definitely one of them, I agree, best pizza in Kenya, down to the crust! Tell u what, I hyped this place to my mate from Nairobi, she was silent the entire pizza, I think she was locked in to how good the flavour is. Definitely not over hyped. Thanks for the Swahili food suggestion, previously I would go all the way to Malindi for mine. Blessing to the fam!

Love your coastal travels. Being Kenyan British and currently living in UK, i terribly miss Kenya! We always went for holidays in Watamu and fell in love with it. You guys are giving me a beautiful nostalgic feeling. Oh and yes! I've just subscribed 🎉

On car I think it's a great idea to have but it depends on whether you intend to stay in Kenya long term .. if yes the car being a defender can double up as a mini safari execution for you and your clients since you are in tourism industry..

That car looks like a guzzler! Might be good for your travel and tour business, but for daily runs, maybe something efficient. However, I got a car after a number of visits to watamu. Definitely AC can make life far more normalised and cars are always safer. Tell us if you made the purchase, we look forward to the next episode….
