I believe she did the right thing in filming him but holding her tongue. She is utterly alone in an area(s) whose residents have made it clear on numerous occasions that she is not welcome. To gather her belongings and leave was the responsible safest decision. Think if that is the "tone of the town". And she encountered trouble and needed to contact 911. Would she receive the assistance needed? Documenting the incident with his face and all was perfect. (I will say I'm not so sure I wouldn't have put his face out there after i cleared the area! Lol😂 I have also stopped speaking to everyone. I used to, but ran into the same response either NO response or the "smile". If you know then you know. So I now match energy. If a smile is all that's given, that's all that's returned. That goes for a hello or straight look right through you too. I’ve experienced racism all my life, from NYC to Las Vegas and especially Ohio. And most of the time it’s that old white man with the dirty looks. Or the ones in their pickup trucks. When I was nine years old, a Jewish woman yelled from her window, “Go back where you came from!” And years later when I was an adult, I thought about that incident and said to myself, “My people were here on this continent well before your people ever set foot here.” And these people don’t even know who you are. And a major reason I am getting out of that real estate situation. I have no desire to go somewhere where so many people would treat another human being like that. I have no room in my life for that hatred to touch. You made the right decision to leave. You are better than that. Better than that ugliness. You do not need to be subjected to that or treated that way. Go where you can feel safe. Or as safe as is possible for anyone nowadays.

Good for you to leave what seems to be a bit unsafe! The cave experience seemed adventurous! I was a bit scared glad you had a partner!

Ugh Nomi I can relate which is unfortunate in this day and age. My intuition kicks in around certain people and certain areas especially if I’m the only person of color.

Good morning Nomi. I just love Arizona. The green trees 🌲 are beautiful. How exciting you’re going on another adventurous hike and look like a cave. Be safe and enjoy. Thank you for taking us along. 💕🙏🏼

While you were traveling .... In Nevada I had a horrible racial experience . Not to sound like a person who give vibe but the truth is there are places we can't travel.... I have done my research asking what states are not good for blk ppl to travel..and please believe me it can get bad ..... Be inform ...God bless.

unfortunate that some people have closed minds . It’s their loss . Don’t even think about it . We appreciate and adore you 😊

I’m sorry you experienced that. Sometimes I think if people SAW themselves on video or heard themselves they’d be shocked and embarrassed and SEE their heart and make changes.
