Out of all of your videos, this one was the most significant to me. This video was a true testament that life is not only about the destination but more about the journey. You have visited places that I most likely will never go but through yours eyes, we're able to see and experience. Your authenticity and bravery is unmatched. I pray for you constantly because traveling alone can be scary. Yet, I know that you have God and trust Him. So thank you Nomi for being you and God bless 🙏🏽

Unsure if someone added this in comments but - a hint from an old girl who grew up in AK and drove the AlCan highway (Alaska Canada highway) a bunch of times. - ROCKS!! - Anytime a vehicle passes you in EITHER direction, rocks will fly as you’ve learned. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS PUT YOUR FLAT PALM ONTO THE WINDSHIELD. The impact of rocks hitting your glass will be transferred through the glass and up your arm -painless and effective! Saves a lot of glass, even a huge rock often left only a chip when it could have shattered. Trust me I spent my teen years doing this when the AlCan highway still had 1300 miles of gravel road plus a lot of bad pavement. TRY IT! You’ll like it! 😎 Safe travels Darlin!

I'm only half way through the video, but I have lives off of dirt roads for a good part of my adult life. Rocks will get caught in there and make that sound. If there is something wrong with your brakes, you'll hear a grinding sound instead of a squealing sound. I was told to drive forward and slam on the brakes to dislodge a rock. Love watching!

I remember the first time it happened to me, I freaked out too. The mechanic just laughed as he showed me the tiny rock that made so much noise! 😊
