I really like this one. I love the character of the old building, well maintained...even the basement was organized and looked good. I love that this place is not boxy, and has a lot of the old character..plus the skylights. The outdoor area is totally private, plus the fence enclosure is high enough for safety. It looks clean and was well cared for. Other than the very high price, it's a winner.

I'm a little late but here's my fun fact for this very unique, very cool building: the grey thing that looks kinda like a face at 5:56 in the video is a rectifier for the antique elevator. It turns 3-phase alternating current into 240V direct current to run the motor. New York City still had DC service available from the street up until 2007, but that was not actually the end of direct current in the city. Any buildings with remaining DC stuff got these little rectifiers afterwards and there's still hundreds if not thousands of buildings that have them.

Cash if you thought that escalator was a long ride you definitely haven't been to Grand Central Treminal for the new LIRR station. That'll definitely take you a few minutes riding. I love that building. So much character & the lobby is drop dead gorgeous. That said, converting it from a single family home to multiple apartments has definitely given it a chopped up feeling. That skylight cover could definitely be used as a table. The kitchen is rather small tho & for the price I actually would expect more.
