I love this new series so much, it really makes me want to travel to Alaska someday!

I absolutely adore this. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, so watching KZbinrs/Influencers in LA is not very interesting to me. I’ve spoken to friends who are also born/raised Angelenos about this and they agree. Your Alaskan videos are by far one of the most entertaining vlogs that I have seen. Please continue!

I moved to Anchorage last fall, and this has been my first salmon season. I caught reds on the Russian in early July, I caught pinks at birdcreek, but I still haven't caught a silver. Next weekend I"m gonna hit Valdez for silvers. Just so you know, you can snag with a treble hook right where the rivers dump into the ocean. Thanks for your videos! I like to see what local people are sharing with the world.

Super cool!! I don't spend a lot of time fishing, but hoping to change that slowly but surely. That's awesome, didn't know that you can snag where the river meets the ocean. My cousin was up in Valdez over the weekend and caught 5 silvers! Sounds like that's the spot to go right now! Thanks for the nice comment 🤗

Also, I had a run in with a small brown bear at the Russian river sanctuary area. He was running up the shore, trying to get peoples fish. Right at the time that I was trying to tie on a new hook, with gear strewn out of my backpack on the ground. I couldn't get my backpack up and my fish untied from a log, by the time that the bear was 20 yards away. keep in mind that I have a 44 mag on my chest, but the last thing I want to do is kill an adolescent bear. So I yell at it, and I scared the shit out of him. He turns and runs up the hill, and weasels his way around me to get to the fillet tables, where he can scavenge some fish skeletons. That was a funny experience!

loving this content and new series already. As someone who has never been to alaska and has always been curious about it, I think this is a wonderful idea. It's like I'm being transported there and going on a little journey with you all.

These vlogs sharing travels in Alaska are so gorgeous, interesting and peaceful to watch, Annemarie! Thank you! Looking forward to seeing more and learning from how you'll highlight the stories of other Alaskans as people reach out via email! I'm thinking about this a lot for a blog project I have been working on about education in New Jersey.

As someone from the east coast, it baffles me that the sun sets so late in the summer in Alaska but I guess that makes up for the little daylight in the winter :)
