War thunder uses the casino tactic with slot machines and dice rolling to try to get people addicted to it. Always making it seem like if they just spend a little bit more they might win something big next time. It's such a shady way of attracting players and they have such a money grab mentality. They don't really care about balance anymore either. Yes it can be fun but you can't really progress past early WW2 without buying both premium time and premium vehicles unless you're really good and playing regularly but even for someone like myself who used to play for hours per day and be at the top of the leaderboards almost every game, I couldn't play past cold war without both premium time and vehicles. I have 7k hours in that game and $10k USD of rare vehicles and I stopped playing. I still log in a couple times per year to make sure my account didn't get deleted and to see if they have changed but they haven't. If you care about your fan base you shouldn't recommend this game that promotes gambling not only to adults but to children with its T rating.
