It was nice to hear about the dog sleds, see a magpie for a 1st, along with seeing a ptarmigan, & using a muff pot. Bison burgers looked thick n hearty. I loved the Awesome aerial view of the dog sleds. Really enjoyed this video.

You guys made me nervous when you were riding on the iced-over lake and drilling holes into it and even building a fire on it… I could never do what you did, even if I were physically able to do so… going on frozen-over lakes is just not stg I’d trust as an activity; I’d be too frightened to come upon a “soft spot” and see the lake swallow me whole. Watching Jim struggle in hip-high snow, I got to thinking shoes might be a good investment for you, for your next adventure. Wesley is being such a good boy through all of this; you are blessed to have one another and I love the mutual respect you share with your spouse, Tori. It’s so refreshing to see a Man respect his wife and be appreciative of her. You all are a joy to watch. Happy Christmas to you and yours and may God continue to bless, guide and protect you, always! 💖💜🕊🎄⛄️🧸⛄️🎄🕊💜💖

The Puzzle Book. I ordered a box of 40 or so.....I figured my husband and I would go through them pretty fast. It’s been 2 years, I think and we still have around 20 left. These books keep your mind clear! My fave is any cryptogram. My husband like Flower Power! We really both like everything. We have no rules. Work on a puzzle and then with of us can continue with it. As far as the heat/cold....it’s never right. I am freezing one minute and burning up the next. Anyway, take care and make memories as a family. You will never regret it.

You know, I once asked Jon from lost lakes why he didn't use a snowmobile when he goes out winter camping & he said he used to but they just weren't for him. After watching you guys struggle with your snowmobile I now can understand. I give you guys credit, you never gave up & you figured it all out 👍 👌 😊

John probably doesn’t like them because of the increase they would bring to his carbon footprint. They do take time to lean and it is a skill that isn’t easy. Plus, oh into remote areas you want to have mechanical knowledge. On top of that they’re loud and travelling by them, you don’t really have a feel and respect for the remote places they can take you compared to walking or paddling. Thanks a lot for watching and I’m glad you enjoy the content.

Love your family and your adventures. The smaller you split wood the quicker it burns. Save large logs for night fires. This will slow the burn and you will not have to get up as many times to stoke the fire. Make sure that both the flue and air inlet are nearly closed, which in turn will slow the fire. God bless wilderness people.

Epic trip Jim, Tori & Wesley… you are great parents and it’s all about that awesome smile of wee Wesley. You amazed me with your wonderful control Tori. Totally amazing that you got to experience a trip of a lifetime with your wonderful child. His smile melts my heart. Thankyou so much for sharing this awesome adventure. 💕🙏😇🎄❄️⛄️💕 LilliStJohn

@@JimBairdAdventurer you’re most welcome…. You guys Take many more adventures with Wesley, that makes everyone’s day. The daily challenges to each of you (the three of you) ….. these are amazing memories you are making. Don’t get me wrong…. I love seeing you battle rapids and fight the canoe through the bush etc…. However You, Tori and Wesley capture the hearts of more than an action adventure….. and I do like those. I am hoping you might take a little breather and have time to pop over to this olde Seniors small channel and watch only one video, perhaps subscribe or comment. Now, that would be a wonderful gift on your part. Please and Thankyou. I like to show people that even olde Seniors still have fun and adventures. Take care dear. Merry Christmas to you all.💕🙏🎄⛄️❄️💕

What a great adventure, and a wonderful blessing to have your family there with you too. I loved it when you opened the door at breakfast and the cold air coming in made steam. I am a wood heating fanatic and have seen that more than once! 😄
