Though I acknowledge that this breaking us is the only way to make us useful to God I am scared to the core of my being because I know a little bit of the intensity of the breaking. God the Holy Spirit breaks all our visible and invisible self-love and self-respect etc. which means that these experiences would break our ego in front of the world. OMG!

Yea, but He breaks to make vessels for His glory. It does not end at the cross, there is resurrection.

There is only one man for a believer, not an outer and inner man. God doesn’t want us to believe that we are two people at once, that is insanity. We are abiding in Jesus 100% of the time and our part is to believe that this is true because of Jesus’ finished work. Once we do fully believe this, we permanently enter God’s rest and actually experience our complete union with Jesus all the time.

May the Lord give us revelation knowledge during the discipline and consecration work of the holy spirit. May we not be ignorant of the consecration work of the holy spirit! I suspect that i may have murmured against the holy spirit in the above described scenario. What a fool have i been!
