Welcome to SA 🇿🇦!! We should've warned you about the weather out here, extremely hot. Your Toni & Guy flat iron is one of the best though, I use one myself. While you out in Cape Town, don't forget to visit Table Mountain, Robben Island and check out wine tastings. Looking forward to seeing the hair content you create in this hot and humid weather of ours.

Thank you soooo much ☺️ yay! I’m glad I picked up the right flat iron! I didn’t even hear about Robben Island so I’ll make sure to check it out! Thanks so much for your support and I’m too curious about how this straight hair gonna work in SA 😂

Hey Shari just to give you a heads up the most expensive thing about going to SA is your plane ticket, your hotel/accommodation, food travelling around is inexpensive and the experience for you as AA will be out of this world from receiving first class service in restaurants and everywhere you go without them expecting something in return because it is just a norm, also its the best country to experience Africa for the first time if you are a bit worried about cultural shocks 😂. On the real if you can afford to go on vacation in any of the major tourist cities in the US then you can definitely afford to go on a trip to SA, you can spend more money on vacation to Vegas, Miami, NYC etc than you would in Cape Town which is the most expensive city in SA😊. Please do some research you will realize travelling outside the US is now actually more affordable than ever before and some cases even cheaper and definitely better than going on vacation in the US especially for those individuals that are blessed with the extra melanin. I don't know how much convincing I have to do here 😂 but I will share something with you🤫 I'm not sure you are aware your neighbors from the caucasus mountains they are all over the place cities like Cape Town is full of them on vacation, it's their play ground. Then what is stopping our brothers and sisters coming then????

@@Peace2dagawdz I need to go out to more restaurants but I really enjoyed Karibu which is at the waterfront and getting to eat dinner while watching the sunset has been one of my favorite experiences so far! I also like Clarkes which is on Bree street-on Saturday-Sunday from 10am-2pm they have ZAR 25 mimosas and I love to go there for lunch to get that and their baby burgers with avo & bacon! I HIGHLY recommend you do the hop on hop off bus, I did it the other day and you get to see so much of the city and learn the history of it

Nope we normally dont have plugs \outlets in the bathrooms. Glad to see you are settling in so well. For now just do all the touristy things as to get to know and get a feel of the country . @Karl3Lang2 жыл бұрын
@@sierralafaye Also in Britain & Ireland most houses and apartments do not have plug outlets in the bathroom, the only electric outlet you may find in few houses its for plugging a shaving machine, it's usually located on the bathroom mirror and has low voltage 110V -120V. USA use 120V as standard that is the main reason when you travel to SA and Europe etc you need to purchase a special adapter with a converter which is inexpensive in order to use your electronic products, the voltage standard in these countries is roughly 230V which will fry your US hairdryer if you plug it directly into the outlet on the wall😂

I think you should get a voltage amplifier for your hairdryers and irons. I find that sometimes American products have a higher voltage than allowed in South Africa. So for products to work, you need this device. I am also in Cape Town, can help you with navigating the city etc. Enjoy!
