I thought the houses are in the 600k to 800k range nowadays in Elk Grove. I just bought one here and so nice to see a good school district that is affordable. In Bay Area, average school district is already in the 1.5m and good school district like Palo Alto is in 2m-4m range.

Do you have a video on cultures? I'll be looking through your channel to see if you have made one. I'm from So Cal, currently living in Denver. I miss the mix of cultures of California. That is our story. We miss a lot of things of California. We want to come back and there is an opportunity in Sacramento.

We don’t have a video specific on cultures but I would say Sacramento is a very diverse area. At least that is what people have told us they appreciated after moving here

Just a warning. Elk Grove Schools have high test scores because they are notorious for pushing kids out of the district who have special needs or are under performing. If you have a child who doesn’t fit into the box of what will make them money, I advise you look elsewhere or check out a charter school. I am a parent and former teacher in the district, and I’ve seen and experienced this first hand.

@@mitchadventures3064 We are not 100% sure that Elk Grove has specific flood zone areas as most of Elk Grove is on the East Side of I-5 away from the River. In regard to renting a house or apartment, each complex or landlord may have a different process that they follow to qualify applicants. In the Greater Sacramento Area, Real Estate agents typically help more with buying and selling properties. Let us know if you want to hop on a call to discuss further.

@@mitchadventures3064Elk Grove is not built on flood plains. Overall, flooding here is not a problem unless you live in the farmlands where the levees are. 75% of the people here own their homes, so renting a house should be attainable.
