Hi Shirley, yes it is beautiful. They call it 'Little Rome'. We have been to the Marina, it is nice. Vasto proper is all the way up the hill and that's where the old town is. Well worth a visit. Once it gets warmer we'll make our way there and make a nice video 🤗

I can see why it might be nice to find a familiar experience every once in a while, given that you have embraced the Italian culture as your regular way of life. I have never tried a McDonalds in Italy, but they appear to be much cleaner and higher end there than McDonalds here in the US.

Haha Aden's reaction to the whipped butter 😂 it's definitely a must have with mcD pancakes. I often ask for the strawberry jam to mix with the whipped butter to put on the pancakes. So good! It's very interesting to see the differences of McDs in other countries. The menus are tailored to fit the market audience.

I hate ordering from the kiosks in McDonald’s…much faster to just tell someone what you want…and much, much easier to customize your order with a human instead of a giant tablet.

Do you ever just use the Spanish word for something when you don’t know the Italian word? I would do that when speaking French…just throw in the Spanish word, if I didn’t know the French one.
