I think I’ve been where you are .. that feeling … it’s like you want a sense of identity and purpose apart from being a mom or wife .. being a mom and wife are beautiful and for-filling but before you were a wife or mom you were your own self …

You do work! Being a mom is a full-time job. You aren't spoiled.

Grandparents are like angels 😇 and yes... i say this to my friends who are fulltime homemakers... i am always in awe with you guys. I feel going to work is like a break for us from all the neverending chores at home 🙃 fulltime homemakers/moms have NO BREAK!!! So please give yourself some credit for doing all the hardwork and raising such a wonderful family 🥰 touchwood!

Thanks for sharing this! I was tearing up watching this while doing dishes late at night after the kids went down. I’m a stay at home mama of two with kids slightly younger than yours and I 10000% felt your words…. and even the words you couldn’t fully form. Thanks for sharing so vulnerably. I felt so seen. Yes we love the precious time we get to spend with our kids but there is that side that feels a little bit like we have lost a bit of ourselves. The debate of going back to work always jogs my mind because I do miss it, but I also know these years with our kids at home will go by so fast. Being a mom is so many feelings at once. You’re doing a great job! I agree with all the other comments. You being there for your grandma and family is so valuable. You are a gift to your family!

Yay, seeing your grandma again! You don't need to be so hard on yourself for not working. Everyone goes through different phases of life. You can consider your KZbin channel as work and being a mom is a full-time job. 😁 It's not like you're totally doing nothing and just lazing around. It's possible the moms with jobs envy you too, heehee.

Your Job of taking care of your family and your grandmother is important. I don't think people can be good employees AND good care labourers. I don't think it's normal how modern society has almost totally excluded homemakers. Just because the economic value they produce isn't printed on a payslip, it doesn't negate the work (or their existence). Materialism is rampant, so if you don't have something to "show" for yourself, you're made to feel less. Is basing one's identity on a career really worth it? I really wish I had had a mother who was at home when I was a child. I hope I can one day be like you!

I loved the last visit with your grandma. The bangs are cute on you… agree they need to be a wee bit shorter. Yummm on that coffee. Bangs are cute on you. Oops… no fun when coming out from getting a delicious coffee only to see bird poo poo😂🤣. Yes, on all all the treats from Japan. Are those ice creams similar to a magnum ice cream? Your dance while grandma spoke was the best…I use to be goofy like that to my mom to make her laugh. It’s awesome that your grandma is still really active. She’s making sure you and the family are eating. I love outfit 1 and 2. Kids are so fun and funny. Great time with friends is always a plus. That’s my husband’s favorite ramen. You are caring for your family, nurturing, loving, being available, there when kids are home to nurture them, you’re incredibly useful. Moms are managers, lawyers, coaches accountants, (arm candy 😆), maids, a laundromat worker, so much more all in one we honestly should be paid a lot more than what we are but I do feel like a reward is one day the kids telling us thanks for being there for me mom thanks for being available loving me and being the best mom. You’re right though I think every mom who is a stay at home mom has that little tiny bit along and thinking that they need to be doing more than what they are but just know your kids are going to appreciate you being there and being home.
