I’m Eritrean-American. When I was a senior in high school I got to go on a vocal performing tour of London and Edinburg. I really enjoy English history. I know there are a lot of my Eritrean bretheren in England. The internet told me this neighborhood was one of two areas in London that majority Eritreans live in (Brixton was the other area it said). This video was very well put together and I really appreciate you guys making it. I’m looking forward to seeing myself in the future. From the Pacific Northwest (Oregon & Washington) of the states. Thank you 🙋🏾♂️ P.S No shade but the guy said at the end the score of 36 out of 60 was good? That’s sixty percent. In school that’s a D. Perhaps scoring and percentages are different in the U.K? It must be my American imperialism mathematical education that has me confused as to why 60% is good? 🤣🤣

I used to lived in Stockwell but left when I was 7 and moved to Peckham. If I could a comparison Stockwell was better. As for Peckham it was quite violent in the past but that has changed now.

Stockwell and the Wandsworth road were without a doubt one of the most dangerous places in the 80's

Thanks for the video. I can't see any 3. bed houses for £325k even in sold listings... Only flats at that price.

If you look at 1:53 my grandma actually decorated that statue

I was looking at that. Eritrean-American here. I have no idea whom or what it represents. Would you mind telling me so I can read and learn more? Thank you!
@MironFenty2 ай бұрын
@@SocialStudiess sure, so this statue is the statue that represents black culture and this is the first statue in london that represents afro-Caribbean women.Hope this helps☺️
@SocialStudiess2 ай бұрын
@@MironFenty so it’s not a specific person? It serves as a representation for a culture as a whole?
