The dangerous part of Long Beach is inland in and around the Compton suburb. I used to live on the Pier and then steps from Dog Beach in Belmont Shores. This woman knows what is up. There are so many cool pockets like Naples, Gaylord (Neon sign) Apartments, Downtown numbered streets. Lots of options to rent.

hi i'm not from the us but i woul love to live there, I was looking a little at Chicago, Illinois and then at Long Beach, California. They are completely different, but since you have lived in both, could you tell me about your living in both and if you liked the move to Long Beach?

Sorry, but this video omits the negatives of Long Beach. It is part of Los Angeles county, and the crime rate is higher than cities nearby in Orange County. The poverty rate is high as well. I would strongly suggest anyone thinking about moving there to think twice. The population of Long Beach has been dropping since 2016 and is projected to continue dropping through 2029. That should tell you something.

I don’t recommend the Lbc for women veterans. Too many catty gay men and down lows, too many hipsters, lack of parking and gang culture. Not to mention the uppitys. Good to visit tho
