Watched from Mazatlan. Spot on. Great as always and very accurate. Been here 8 of the last 12 months. Beware the Rainy Season. There are going to be days and even nights where unless you love the heat, you will be uncomfortable. But I've managed it well and just time my walks in the evening or early EARLY morning. Some other days have been just fine. The food is off the charts. Your health will improve and your quality of life is better, IMO. Another word of caution: Watch where you walk. Sidewalks can be a danger in the Centro Historico areas especially, but stay aware and you'll be fine. I love this city. Even better? Come and then venture out into some of the smaller pueblos in the hills away from the traffic! :)

Excellent comprehensive video. My fiance, who is from MZT, was able to find us a great rental (monthly) in Centro blocks from the Cathedral on Facebook below market rates. It was a huge fully renovated 2 bedroom condo with a terrace, fully furnished with internet and electricity included for under $700/mo. We spent a great summer there. Sometimes it helps to look in non conventional places. Mazatlan is a beautiful city with some of the friendliest people in Mexico. I might be a little bias ;-)

Respectfully disagree. I have lived in Mexico over 5 years and in Mazatlan for one, in a tower facing the ocean, from Nov 22 to Nov 23 and it cost 38,000 pesos a month...the view was awesome.. Mazatlan is for younger Spanish muchachos and mochas who want to party HARD. It was the loudest town I have ever lived in. No one speaks spanish (I do and it made it easy to live there). There is a lot to do but I suggest living a month there. Puerta Vallarta would be a much better choice. The reason I moved to Mazatlan was I heard all these great things and believed them. It WAS fun and I loved it but could not wait until my lease expired. I hope somebody listens, I didn't and what a shock!

Well done video. Very informative with great detail. One small comment, it would've been helpful if when talking about the cost of rent, food, etc, in Mexican pesos you would've also said what the U.S. dollar equivalent was. Other than that, I commend you on the amazing content you provided.
@MexicoRelocationGuide Жыл бұрын
Sorry but that changes every single day because the exchange rates fluctuate. I think it's better to check on xe.com - I used to add all the dollar equivalents on previous videos but now they are irrelevant because the peso is no longer worth the same amount. And people comment upset that I am spreading misinformation. So this is the best way. Thanks for watching!
@ronaldoago-go5907 Жыл бұрын
@@MexicoRelocationGuide you are doing it right...when things are priced in local currency that is how it should be presented. It's so easy to do a quick conversion! In no way will they receive you for free for being American or Canadian, you can buy a membership that costs between 10,000 and 15,000 pesos per month and does not include obesity surgery or dental care, which is very expensive in your country, and if you are a resident, you do not have right to receive medical care, because you have never paid taxes and were not born here, it is in article 4 of our constitution, that only Mexicans have the right to free medical care. You will have to pay a membership monthly if you want medical care from the Mexican health system. Thank you for your attention, greetings and enjoy the beauty of our city.
