When I came to Mexico last year they only gave me a 3 month visa..And I was staying with Mexican family friends. It's hard to live there now without showing them you have or earn loads of money..I would of really loved to stay longer and give it a chance. I also found most things to be very expensive..like in Europe and even more..So unless you have a great income It's not a good idea..Happy you guys found it is the best fot your family...Mexico is amazing..❤

Thanks for sharing 😊 You could look into the Regularization program and see if you qualify. It’s unsure that they will continue this into 2024. The cost of living here really depends on where you live and how you live. The cost of food is at least half of what we used to pay for in Toronto when we shop locally. If we shop of Costco it’s basically the same.

I moved from NYto FL years ago and it was so weird when it was hot out and the winter holidays. New Years Eve in shorts was just odd. But in time, you, like me, will come to love it and note that many people travel to your part of the world to avoid the winter weather. You are in a beautiful part of the world - enjoy - which is evident! This is the first of your videos that I've watched and it was GREAT!Subscribed.

I lived just as you do right with the communities, feeling all the awarkdness of being the only or one of the few people f, rom somewhere else. Time is a doifferent thing here. Thats why I moved and stayed 7 years in Mexico when my children were little was the sense of community. Was hard when I moved back to Canada having to let go of things I had accumulated but a friend put it best. "They are just THINGS Peg you can replace them" I just remembered living there I was a guest in their beautiful country. Love your videos!!!

That’s a great experience you gave your children ❤️ although things are replaceable it sometimes easier said than done - there are definitely certain “things” we wish we could bring from Toronto but we can’t. I also think moving back to Canada would be harder than moving to Mexico.

Try to not create any recycle or trash? Buy bulk, use your own straw and stainless containers/glass to drink with. Trash is a problem as plastics wind up in everything and fish too! Blessings 🙏 Wonderful journey your family is on!

Thanks for commenting. I dont quite remember what point your referring to but we've defenetly learned how to give certain plastics a second life here (turning them into planters, containers for things, storage, etc.). @Morelifediaries7 ай бұрын
Thank you 😊 honestly most goods are more expensive, if they’re lesser they’re typically not as good quality. Anything made outside of Mexico will be more expensive. Services are typically significantly cheaper. Food grown in Mexico and purchased in markets will be cheaper.

This is my last Christmas in Canada. Consulate appt in a couple of weeks, Moving next year. Even though I live in Vancouver, where we get very little snow, it’s still too much for me. You can make a plan in Mexico but it's a moving target. Don't be attached to the end expected end result because what you wind up with could be better then you expected. Integrate into the community. Mexico can be tough for people with type A personalities so patience is a key. Just saying Buen dia goes a long way. -Marc

Congratulations on your anniversary. We don't own a home and pay a high rent here close to Laguna Beach SoCal. I retired after 35 years working for a trucking company. The wife plans to retire next year. We have saved quite a bit of money since I met her 18 years ago. We have no debt. Language is not an issue, I am fluent. We have visited Loreto Baja California Sur, and it is a small quiet town. Nothing like P.V. but more beautiful and peaceful.
