The beginning is beautiful (and the audio is so clear for the birds singing)! Question: were the yolks on those eggs really that dark, or was that due to a color filter? If you'd be willing to share, I'd love to hear about how you became interested in food/cooking/culinary presentation!

@@daughterofgod3721 thanks 😊 yes they were that dark. they are a more expensive brand. it's typically accepted that the darker the yolk, the better diet the hens had. i can't speak to the truth of that, but that's what the internet told me haha :) i just like cooking because it lets me be creative in a different way. food presentation is like another art form i get to practice

I'm really thankful for people like you. People think making KZbin videos is easy, and they're right for people who just record themselves sitting down talking and upload whatever they film, but the way y'all do it is work. Recording everything you do, setting up the camera and then doing stuff like you're not the one who set up the camera, doing stuff slow so you can film it, it's all to freaking much. You're never not thinking of KZbin. Then you have to edit DAYS of film down to a few minutes. I'd rather work a set number of hours than work all day, every day. So yeah, I appreciate you and everyone else who do what you do.

You need an OBD scanner to plug into the vehicle's port. This will give you all the error codes and tell you what's wrong immediately in most circumstances.

Being told what's wrong with out an autozone in a reasonable vicinity is pointless...::9/10 if you're throwing codes it requires a sensor replacement. 10/10 of youre throwing codes and its not starting you need a tow or set fire to the rig and collect insurance. 11/10 times when overlanding its almost impossible especially when no cell service is available and will cost you a million dollars for a tow. You can't fix mechanical issues on the trail easy. The point of Toyotas and prepping is to not have shit like this happen at all. Having an obd reader is absolutely pointless unless you can fix your car. Plus. Unless you spend $$$ they are inaccurate..:: Now. I do believe in tuner chips and running a laptop or tablet in your rig to control throttle intake and exhaust and also tell you when something is going to take a shit soon. But you should know this before it happens and especially before you leave the nearest city where you could be left stranded. The point of the Toyota tax is for this not to happen ever. Being able to piss on your radiator and run on no oil is why i buy Toyotas. Using An odm reader on the trail...: AFTER, the car took a shit, would add insult to injury. Your car has aids, we knows this. It starting and moving is the only thing that matters. Learn how your car works. How it feels and make sure you change filters and Mass airflow sensor is clean before hitting the trail.

Beautiful location!! BUT, now that I'm retired...I must say, when vacation time appears, and I fire up my Cummins in our Class A motorhome with four slides, it's SO much easier than when my wife and I where first married, had an old Chevy pickup truck, with a canopy on the box, where we slept and lived for six weeks on a trip up towards the Arctic Ocean, getting to Inuvik, then travelling down and exploring Alaska from here in southwestern British Columbia! So, in our youth, we did many a trip as minimalists, but now the comfort creatures are astounding, making life a fair bit easier, yet still having our newer 4X4 pickup if/when we want to explore, or trailer our atv's high up into the mountains on the many logging or mining roads, so see similar scenery. Life is what you make of it, and I thank you for sharing yours! Stay safe, be kind and keep showing us the amazing outdoors as you find it!

Look up the issue on the Toyota forums. Can be a loose wire and if you off road a lot, that may be it. Also, use a FixD device or similar to read out your codes. Dealerships are so expensive…try to fund a reputable non-dealer certified mechanic. I have a 4th gen out in the road too.

Hey man, I have a gx470 with the same 4.7 powertrain. The gas caps are known to throw a code like that. Oem is like 25 beans. I would go ahead and replace the cap if you have never done it. If its not that it's likely the o2 sensor. The same thing happened to me, it would intermittently come on and off until the code finally stayed on. A O2 sensor was the culprit . It's probably a O2 going bad, try the gas cap first
@Swimdeep
@Swimdeep 3 жыл бұрын
Agree about the gas cap. I have a Blazer 4WD and had the same thing happen. New gas cap fixed it. I bet the because his gas tank was reading less than a 1/4 tank, the vacuum affected the seal just enough to throw those codes. Once he filled up, the seal had less vacuum pressure so the codes went away.

wow that setup is legit dude, Just a suggestion, you may wanna invest in a decent obd2 scanner so you can at least read those codes when they come up, just something you can add to your gear list.

Awesome video, always so relaxing to watch. Loved the footage of the backpacking trip, btw, where is that fire lookout? I live just north of Baker over the border and once us canucks are allowed down there I'd love to get up there!
