such a good reminder to never compliment people on losing weight or on their body size change in general... you never know what's really going on with them.

Just wanted to say that you look amazing! And I know how it feels to have people say that you've lost weight, i've been there too and It's just as hurtful as commenting any body size. But you truly look great now just as before, weight fluctuates, don't be too hard on yourself :')

Hi Lois! Was making scrambled eggs this morning and you randomly popped into my head. I am so sorry you’ve been struggling. I have reflux as well and have been taking a PPI for years. Stress definitely makes GI symptoms worse. I won’t lie, I loved watching your restaurant escapades but I will definitely watch anything you film. It’s so easy to become self conscious when people comment about our bodies. I hope you feel better with the changes you’ve been making. ❤

I had similar issues and struggled couple years.. I eliminated many food from my diet at that time.. Diagnosed with ulcer, had colonoscopy and endoscopy.. I was taking ibuprofen.. I started with everyday headache..I stoped taking ibuprofen or any kind pain reliever.. I started using 10 mg Claritin everyday.. my all symptoms disappeared.. I eat anything I want and feel very healthy.. good luck and feel better…

Hi Lois I have been enjoying your vlogs for a while now and I just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear this health related issue. I am from Turkey but my brother and his wife are from the Us they are both experiencing the same issues. I hope you recover soon from this and go back to normal. I question is this something coming from the food in USA. its really a sad and life limiting illness. But keep your spirit high and focus on always the positivities in your life

this was me a year ago. did the supplement, ppi, bland foods, and cut out alcohol. I'm better now but still have issues. i don't know what it is because i feel like doctors don't know either. i wonder if it is related to covid because I heard of people having GI issues after catching it. i think what helped me is eating smaller portions so you can digest faster. limit eating food few hours before bed and keep a diary of foods that bring on your symptoms so you can eliminate them from your diet. also try not to google what everyone else does because you're just going to drive yourself crazy. i wish you'll feel better soon.

I was so happy to see your Vlog today!! Sending you encouragement and lots of love and healing vibes for your recovery… I always enjoy your Vlogs and hope that you continue to keep us up-to-date on your healing progress and what’s going on in your life. You were saying that you drink bone broth every morning but it’s expensive...If you have an InstantPot, you can make your own for a fraction of the cost! It’s easy to do and delicious! I admire you so much for giving up all of the foods that you love for your recovery...stay strong and you are supported!💪🙋♀️👏👏👏🙏🌟✌️✨

OMG, earlier today I was just wondering how are you doing ?? So happy to see this new video...on the other hand, I'm so sorry to hear that you are dealing with some health issues. A few years ago I had a gastroesophageal reflux issue and got well again after 3 months of medications and had to stop my favorite spicy, sour foods and coffee and tea too. Anyway, it's great to know you are getting back some momentums. Please remember that we're all rooting for you!! And thanks for all your videos, simply love them ~

Lois! I hope you get well soon! Around October the doctor told me I have the same issues (acid reflux etc etc) Can you please share your every diet and meals that has been working for you?? What can you eat and what can't you eat? Bone broth (clear soups) have been working for me. Thank you!!!

I went through the same thing last year, felt like I could never eat good food again and lost part of myself that made me happy 😅 I think the main cause was stress. and I moved to a new city and started a new job, once I started getting busy with life, kinda distracted me from it and it slowly got better. Oats and banana with cinnamon powder was the best combo that didn’t get me bloated ! Trust me girl it will get better

Hi Lois, it's good to have you back! I really love your videos and have been missing them... First of all, I'm really sorry about all of the health problems, sadly I've been through very similar things. And I can say ppi is a hell and made my symptoms worse than it was before and I'm lost so much weight, was constantly scared and in pain... Then I've realized that I need to eat more + do my research on some alternatives ( please don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that you should do the same, just maybe my experience would help... ) and I've also started taking DGL (not the ones you take, but the capsules), slippery elm and some vitamins. And slowly it has got better. I was lucky to find a good doctor a year after that. I can't say I feel perfect all the time yet I'm feeling OK. What has also helped me a lot is yoga (breathing techniques help because it makes your diaphragm stronger), pilates + meditation. Please get well soon and remember the hard times will pass! Sending hugs and love 💕

Hope you get better soon! I also had gastritis for the first few months of moving here to NYC so I feel you!! Some things that helped me get better were: 1. Reducing stress through meditation 2. Congee and plain boiled rice for meals at the start 3. Eating 6 small meals instead of 3 4. Ginger tea! If your stomach can handle it, this reduced inflammation a lot (boil ginger pieces with water and add honey) You’ll get through this! ❤ I know how tough it is 😭

Hey, I have very bad (GERD) Acid reflex and one of the only things that have help me, of course changing my diet and I take Dexilant 60MG before breakfast. Ask your Gastro about it. It does help. Thankfully I haven't stop coffee and you can also ask your doctor because I think is not too invasive. But def. spicy food, tomato, onion or acidic food you have to avoid. I hope that helps! :)
@DC-tv9fj2 жыл бұрын
Video idea: you can still highlight food. Just show where people who may have health concerns or different dietary needs may eat. I don't know of any channels doing that.

Feel better, Lois. Stomach issues are the worst and so can be so life-altering. If no meds are working, just to be absolutely sure, get an ultrasound of your stomach organs. Pancreas, gallbladder, liver, lungs. Just to ensure everything is okay. I love your videos a lot and will continue to support you no matter what direction your channel goes.

Building a safe environment is more important, as well as instruments Natural disasters are real and people do not truly understand the mineral deposits underground including natural gas development that can cause explosions, there are also more potential hazards. People usually wait for accidents to happen allegedly before they make changes When construction sites excavate minerals under the ground they find massive rocks etc that they may not even understand existed.

Hi, I will stay away from PPI there's currently a lawsuit for those medications. You should look into fixing your gut because that helps me a lot. Also, Dr. Mark Hyman has a podcast episode about PPI.
