@@TreasureValleyDave not really just teens being teens usually nothing compared to other cities. Its a close knit community. my parents still live there and so far no gangs etc.

I live in Ontario and grew up I'm payette. The crime rate is high for population but also many would say it's bc it boarders orwgon and the oregon crime claimes into patette

Payette is a nice little town. Several run-down buildings and empty storefronts though. Not a good sign. Such nice looking homes. But spending $400K+ for those bungalows seems a little steep for Idaho.

I went to the A&W there last week. It's like straight out of the 50s!! Not made to look like that but like it's not changed for 80 years! Very cool indeed!

Lived in Payette 20 years. Texas is nicer. ;) Riverwalk is awesome there.

Looks like there's a couple of them... Ride for Joy north of Caldwell and Healing Hooves Idaho over in Garden City. I don't know anything about them, but they look like they might be what you need!!

I've lived in boise Caldwell and nampa, and payette is the only town with endless property theft and vandalizing. Never had a problem until moving to payette i don't recommend it.

I wonder what the deal is in Payette? Is it because it's close to Oregon? Or do the people/local government just look the other way?

Hi Verne! Yeah, it's a nice town... very much like from the 50s or 60s. I think the crime rate might be higher because of lower population. I've never had the feel that there were bad areas or graffiti or gang stuff. I'm sure they have some crime, but it doesn't feel like a crime-ridden community. Thanks for watching!!

Yeah... depending on what things you need to be by. The average commute time in the Treasure Valley is 17 minutes. Living in Payette and working in the Boise area would make your commute a little bit longer 😁
