Thanks for this very pleasant video. My wife and I married in 1977 and moved to San Diego from New York right after our wedding to be in climate closer to hers being from always warm Saigon. We used to drive up to Rancho Bernardo thinking it was paradise and thinking we would eventually reside there. Work brought us back to the cold winters of New York for a while but we managed to find a way to the true tropics being Saigon itself where we have been living more than 30 years. I don't think we would ever move back but if we did it would be to Rancho Bernardo!

Hi. Thanks for videos. Are rattlesnakes really actual problem in San Diego and it’s surrounding cities? So is it very often to see them on decks and backyards? Thanks

They are out there but your not going to see them daily or anything. I’ve seen two in 8 years if that makes you feel better 😀

I’d like to see a few examples of homes for sale (low end -mid range-high end) and the same for homes that are for rent. Just to get an idea of how affordable it is. Also (as someone who may be moving there soon) touch a little more on the schools (public- private-parochial ). Love ❤️ the videos.

Thanks for the feedback - we usually do talk about schools quite a bit but left it out a bit in this one

Great summary- many thanks! A lot of people mistakenly say that Bernardo Winery is in Rancho Bernardo, but it's actually over the border in Poway! :)

Nice video 👍 If you work in RB, are there other good cities to live in (besides RB), in order to have decent commute?
@BernMcGovern2 жыл бұрын
Yeah lots actually - depending on price points. Rancho Penasquitos, Del Sur, 4s Ranch, Poway, Escondido, Scripps Ranch would be the closest

Where did you see Google offices in RB? They have a satellite office in Sorrento Valley.

Love your video's! We're currently living in The Netherlands and relocating to San Diego in about 6 months.. we love Rancho Bernardo but I've been wondering how long it will take to bike (yes very dutch) to the closest family friendly beach.. also can you recommend other (affordable) family friendly beach towns or towns that are a bike ride away from a beach! Thanks so much!
@BernMcGovern2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! It would be a bit of ride by bike from Rancho Bernardo. But if you can to the 56 freeway they have a bike path that runs parallel to the 56 that can pretty much take it all the way to Torrey Pines state beach
